Seven Years’ Love, Defeated by Alpha's Preference for Her
Hannah Air · Completed · 7.3k Words
Introduction
Until before the Coming-of-Age Ritual, his junior sister Lilian appeared—and everything changed.
That day, I helped him reply to a message on his communication stone and saw Lilian’s note:
“honey~what should I wear tomorrow?”
He glanced at it and said, “Sent to the wrong person.”
But when someone had used this same trick before, he looked utterly disgusted.
Why, when it came to Lilian, did it change?
On my birthday, it was worse—he said Lilian’s experimental data was problematic and left me and my carefully prepared celebration behind.
Later, I saw the video: he was teaching Lilian hand-in-hand, letting her fall into his arms, and even in her posted photo he rested his hand on her shoulder.
I confronted him with the same style of promise ring that Lilian wore, and he said,
“You’re so stubborn and weird—it’s no wonder you were bullied back then.”
That was my deepest scar.
Chapter 1
While staying up late with Xavier to do experiments, his communication stone suddenly vibrated.
“Help me reply—it’s probably Eldridge Fang.”
His eyes never left the cultured cells under the microscope; his tone was careless.
Sleepy-eyed, I took his communication stone—and instantly woke up.
What came into view was a girl’s mirror selfie:
a slender figure, lips slightly curved, eyes full of flirtatious provocation.
It was Xavier’s junior, Lilian.
“honey~tell me, what should I wear tomorrow?”
The tone was openly intimate and suggestive.
I froze, my heart seized tight.
Xavier, still bent over observing the experimental cells, didn’t notice the undercurrent beside him.
Tomorrow was my Coming-of-Age Ritual.
It happened to be the weekend—we had agreed to go to the Moonlight Altar beneath the sea cliffs to celebrate.
I had dressed carefully, full of expectation for the birthday celebration.
Yet at that very moment came such a message.
I handed him the communication stone. He turned his head briefly, glanced, and gave a soft chuckle.
“Sent to the wrong person.”
I looked sideways at him and immediately opened the video-call function.
The other party picked up at once.
“honey~ what are you doing?”
Her tone was syrupy and teasing.
Her lip line was breathtakingly beautiful.
I pointed the communication stone at myself.
Lilian froze.
“Why… it’s you?”
The screen stalled for a second, as if on purpose,
then quickly recovered.
“Sorry, sorry! I really sent it to the wrong person, I didn’t mean to.”
She spoke fast, but there was no panic in her smile.
I said nothing. Xavier replied softly:
“Mm. Be careful next time.”
My heart sank instantly.
I had known him seven years—
I knew his nature too well.
Xavier was a perfectionist, always disdaining stupidity.
I was not clever, so after we got together I always treated him carefully, fearing he might someday despise me.
But he had once held me close and murmured, “You’re different.”
Someone else had used the same trick once; he saw through it immediately, eyes full of disgust.
He comforted me gently afterward, saying,
“That woman isn’t you. That trick doesn’t work on me.”
But today, he excused her softly.
It felt as if something unseen was changing—that misplaced gentleness pierced into my chest like a blade. A sense of suffocating pressure rose, choking me.
I looked at Xavier.
“She’s flirting with you.”
It was not a question but a statement.
The air froze for a moment.
On the other end, Lilian stared, unprepared for my directness.
Her face turned red.
“N-no, Nora, you misunderstand! It was really a mistake!”
Her voice trembled, eyes moist.
Her bare shoulder quivered on-screen—pitifully fragile.
Finishing the blood-sample test, Xavier glanced our way, realizing I was angry.
With a helpless, indulgent smile, he hung up the call and pinched my cheek.
“Mm, she’s flirting with me.”
The tone was lazy, as though indulging a willful child.
Before I could explode, the laboratory door swung open—and Lilian appeared.
Under her oversized shirt, two pale legs were exposed.
“I just wanted to explain to Nora in person.”

Neither does the memory of Tyler. Leaving her here without a second thought.
I shouldn’t care.
I don’t care.

.
Locked in her frozen tower, Bella dreamed of warmth, of touch, of freedom and of love. Cursed with the power of ice and snow, she’s spent her life alone. A secret they tried to protect the world from. Her only escape comes in the form of the books she reads. Stories of heat, desire, and the kind of love that could melt even her frostbitten heart.

When frost meets fire, the world shatters. She was never meant to leave her tower. He was never meant to find her. But destiny doesn’t bow to kings or care for cages and now the question burns through them both: Can Bella have her Beast? Or will the girl of snow melt in the heat of his desire?
.
"I’m keeping her."
"What?"
Before I can react, he scoops her up. Her small body fits easily in the cradle of his talons. For a split second, she looks startled, but not afraid. Her hand rests against one scaled finger, and she stares up at him with that same curious wonder, as though she’s already forgotten she was ever meant to fear me.
"Put her down," I try to command, panic threading through my thoughts. "You’ll hurt her."
"She’s ours," the beast insists, possessive and fierce. "Our snowflake."
Invincible Upon Release: The Strongest Mage
Her family looked down on him, and even she herself said coldly: “You’re not worthy of being my husband.”
Everyone thought this newly released good-for-nothing was just a poor fool who’d taken the fall for his brother.
Thorne said nothing.
He merely raised his hand, gently pressing his bride’s forehead.
In an instant, the chaos in her eyes faded. Holy light surged from beneath the church, shooting into the sky.
The world’s only candidate for the Saintess, blessed with holy power, slowly opened her clear eyes before him.
Pregnant by My Husband's Rival Alpha
Those words should have destroyed me, but the truth was worse: I'd been used as a broodmare by the man who swore to love me, set up in a hotel room with a stranger because My husband Alexander Cross couldn't father children himself, and now I carried the secret babies of Damon Lester—the most powerful and dangerous Alpha in San Loris—while my own family replaced me with the daughter they'd always wanted. But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?
