Seven Years of Love Broken
Monica · Completed · 7.1k Words
Introduction
When I clicked into the drafts folder, a glaring message caught my eye:
"Tingzhou, I've prepared a new battle outfit~ Ready to drain you dry."
Seconds later, that draft vanished, replaced by a new one:
"Naughty girl, get the ultra-thins ready and wait for me."
Only three people knew the password to this email account: me, my husband, and his first love...
Watching their increasingly explicit flirtations,
tears streamed down my face uncontrollably.
Turns out, no matter how many years you spend by someone's side, it all crumbles the moment their first love returns.
I steadied my trembling fingers, sent the email, and cleared the history.
Then I dialed a number that had been dormant for seven years.
"I give up. I'm willing to come home for the arranged marriage."
On the other end came my godfather's familiar, authoritative voice,
"Get rid of anything that shouldn't be left behind. Make it clean."
My hand trembled as it touched my lower abdomen. "Okay."
"Someone will pick you up in three days."
Chapter 1
I clicked into the drafts folder and saw a glaring email.
[Aiden, I've prepared new pajamas. I miss you.]
Soon, this draft disappeared and a new one appeared.
[Get the ultra-thin condoms ready. Wait for me.]
The only people who knew this email password were my husband and me, and his first love...
Watching their increasingly explicit flirtatious messages, my tears fell uncontrollably.
So even the longest companionship means nothing when first love returns.
I held back my trembling fingers, sent the email, and cleared the records.
Then I dialed that number I hadn't touched in seven years. "I give up. I'm willing to come home for the arranged marriage."
The godfather's familiar, authoritative voice came through. "Clean up anything that shouldn't be left behind."
My trembling hand moved to my lower abdomen. "Okay."
"Someone will come pick you up in three days."
Chapter 1
I had just logged out of the email when I got a call from Aiden Landon.
"Honey, something came up at the company. I can't have dinner with you today. I'll bring you a gift when I get back."
"Okay."
He didn't remember—today was our seventh wedding anniversary.
After chasing Aiden Landon for seven years, it was time to stop.
Since childhood, the godfather had strictly trained me in countless skills. Computer skills were just one of them.
It was easy to track down the address and user information from the email login IP.
A riverside villa near us.
He'd had a second home right under my nose all along.
I sat alone in the five-star restaurant I'd reserved, having the chef shave white truffle for me. He kept going as long as my tears kept falling.
I gave myself only 5 minutes to be sad.
After 5 minutes, I had Aiden Landon's assistant come pick me up.
On the way home, I found Aiden Landon's first love's social media account and scrolled through her entire page.
[So what if he has a wife? As long as I come back, his body and heart are both mine]
[What does that woman have besides the title of Mrs. Landon? The funny thing is, she keeps working so hard for Landon Corp—she really is both a bed warmer and a money maker]
So I wasn't just his shield, but also a tool to make money for their happy life together.
My heart felt like it was being pierced by countless needles, a dense, spreading pain.
When I got home, I went straight to the study and exported all the contact records between him and Zoe Wilson from these past years from my work computer.
If I was leaving, I should at least give him a parting gift.
Just then my phone buzzed—a notification that Zoe had updated her account.
It was a photo of a brand new pack of 10 ultra-thin condoms, all used up.
I stared at my phone and suddenly started laughing.
Until I laughed myself to tears.
All these years, except for those few days during ovulation, he never touched me. And almost every time, it was exactly 33 thrusts, like clockwork.
I thought he was just naturally reserved in that area.
Turns out, he just didn't love me.
I heard the front door open downstairs, and a child crying.
"Maria, Zoe got divorced. I saw her struggling alone with a kid, and she has a fever, so I thought I'd have them stay with us for a while."
Aiden Landon pushed up his glasses with his index finger and touched his nose.
After following him around for so many years, how could I not know these were his guilty tells?
I stood on the stairs and sneered. "What, the child's father won't take care of them, so you, the ex-boyfriend, have to? Is that appropriate?"
"Maria, don't throw a tantrum." Aiden Landon looked at me with that familiar impatience.
"Dad... Uncle Aiden, I want a hug."
The three-year-old boy reached out to Aiden, who immediately bent down gently to pick him up.
"Sorry, Miss Maria. My son Joey is very close to Aiden. Sometimes he gets the names mixed up. Please don't mind."
Zoe explained with fake concern.
The warm family scene I'd imagined was now playing out before my eyes in this way.
"Oh, and Zoe's health isn't good. The doctor said she needs more sunlight. Let's give Zoe and Joey our master bedroom for now. You're always traveling for work anyway."
Since he didn't want me anymore, there was no point fighting over a room.
"Sure."
Aiden Landon frowned, which was rare. "Maria, something's off with you."
"Isn't this what you've always wanted?"
In the past, I would have fought with him about this.
When we first got married, I thought he'd finally been moved by me and was willing to be with me properly.
But he always kept a certain distance from me.
Because of his coldness, I cried, I fought, I even threatened to cut my wrists.
At first he would explain that this was just his personality, that he couldn't respond to me warmly.
Over time, he just treated me like an immature child, with nothing but impatience.
Zoe walked up to me, tears in her eyes, interrupting my thoughts.
She grabbed my hand. "Miss Maria, it's all my fault. If I hadn't suddenly gotten a fever while in the country with no one to turn to except Aiden, I wouldn't have disturbed you two."
How disgusting.
My lower abdomen started to ache faintly.
I shook off her hand. "If I blame you, will you leave?"
I clearly didn't use much force, but Zoe fell straight to the floor, covering her face and crying.
I instinctively reached out to help her, but was pushed away hard and hit the corner of a table.
Aiden nervously picked up Zoe and turned to leave. "Maria, you've really disappointed me! After all this time, you still don't have the grace and tolerance Mrs. Landon should have."
"Aiden Landon, let's get a div—"

How Not To Fall For A Dragon
Which is why it was more than a little confusing when a letter arrived with my name already printed on a schedule, a dorm waiting, and classes picked out as if someone knew me better than I knew myself. Everyone knows the Academy, it’s where witches sharpen their spells, shifters master their forms, and every kind of magical creature learns to control their gifts.
Everyone except me.
I don’t even know what I am. No shifting, no magic tricks, nothing. Just a girl surrounded by people who can fly, conjure fire, or heal with a touch. So I sit through classes pretending I belong, and I listen hard for any clue that might tell me what’s hidden in my blood.
The only person more curious than me is Blake Nyvas, tall, golden-eyed, and very much a Dragon. People whisper that he’s dangerous, warn me to keep my distance. But Blake seems determined to solve the mystery of me, and somehow I trust him more than anyone else.
Maybe it’s reckless. Maybe it’s dangerous.
But when everyone else looks at me like I don’t belong, Blake looks at me like I’m a riddle worth solving.

Peace lasts exactly one lullaby. This is the story of an orphan pup who became a goddess by choosing her family; of four imperfect alphas learning how to be better. Steamy, fierce, and full of heart, Goddess of the Underworld is a reverse harem, found-family paranormal romance where love writes the rules and keeps three realms from falling apart.
A pack of their own
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.
Especially - Rule Number One - No Mates
When Draven meets Domonic, he knows that she is his mate, but Draven has no idea what a mate is, only that she has fallen in love with a shifter. An Alpha that will break her heart to make her leave. Promising herself, she will never forgive him, she disappears.
But she doesn’t know about the child she’s carrying or that the moment she left, Domonic decided rules were made to be broken - and now will he ever find her again? Will she forgive him?
The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Because secrets never stay buried.
And neither do dreams.
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
Wren thought she'd buried the chaos of New Orleans for good—the clubs, the blood-soaked loyalties, the men who lived and died by their kuttes. Seattle gave her everything she ever wanted: freedom, love, a future.
But one betrayal shatters it all.
Dragged home by tragedy, Wren finds herself under the watchful eye of Ezra Jax—the Raven Reapers MC's vice president and her brother's best friend. He's infuriating, dangerous, and far too tempting for a man she should never touch.
And the deeper Wren is pulled back into his world, the more she realizes nothing about her past—or about Ezra—is what she believed.
In the chaos of gang wars, mounting debts, and old betrayals, he becomes the one constant. The more she fights him, the harder she falls. And the more he pushes her away, the more lethal his pull becomes.
Because in this world, love isn't sweet.
It's brutal. Bloody.
And it's bound to break them both.
When loyalty is everything and love can cost your life, will Wren risk her heart on the one man she was never meant to love?
