Introduction

Charlotte is a simple princess in the Kingdom of Canopus, who was a prisoner of her own parents in the dungeon because her sisters are insecure and intimidated of her beauty. However, when their kingdom was colonized by King Abaddon of the werewolf tribe, stargazer Venus helped her escape the dungeon to find her fated man who will redeem their kingdom and save her family from the most evil creature on their planet, King Abaddon.

Chapter 1

It has been eighteen years since King Solomon and Bartholomeo became enemies on the planet Gathiolea. Their conflict started when King Solomon desired the Tizona sword, a strong and powerful weapon. He insisted to King Bartholomeo on using it to protect his kingdom, but King Bartholomeo refused. King Solomon was infuriated and decided to depart from King Bartholomeo's kingdom. King Bartholomeo cut the ground with the Tizona sword to separate his kingdom from Solomon's.

What happened has saddened all the Canopus magicians and Alabama warriors. Amidst this complex conflict, Queen Elizabeth learned she was pregnant through a magic well created by star gazer Venus. Her two children, Princess Olivia and Zendaya, were overjoyed because they were expecting a younger sibling. They used their advance ritual magic to see what their youngest sibling would look like. To their surprise, they saw Charlotte is going to be a beautiful woman when she grows up. Afraid that she might steal the men's attention from them, they told their mother to hide her in the dungeon.

Queen Elizabeth knew that her children would sulk so much that she followed their wishes. She uses suppressing magic to avoid arousing suspicions about her secret pregnancy. Nine months later, she gave birth to Charlotte in the dungeon underneath their humongous castle. Apart from their family, only Venus knows about Charlotte's existence.

As expected, Charlotte became a beautiful young woman. Even though she was in the dungeon, her complexion was still beautiful and she grew whiter because she was not exposed to the sun. Her elder sisters and family frequently visit her and give her various books to read in order to poison her mind about what is going on in the world. However, Charlotte's family's fate changes on the birthday of her father, King Solomon. A dozen werewolves attacked and surrounded their castle, defeating the high-ranking magicians who guarded the tunnel leading into the kingdom.

Coincidentally, the full moon shines brightly above the sky, causing the werewolves to grow stronger as they make their way to Canopus' castle. Two dozen magicians were alarmed and used fire magic but werewolves cast barriers to protect themselves until they reached the outside of Canopus's castle which is entirely made of brick stone and woods.

Two dozen magicians came out, including King Solomon who wore an Imperial crown that has eight hoops that rise from the ring to form a single-rounded dome. It is majorly made from 20-karat gold but also features assorted gemstones and pearls around. He wore a cloak with long under tunics made of silk and embroidered with gold thread. His shoes is also made of leather.

A magician wearing a purple cloak approached and bowed before King Solomon. "Your Majesty, the werewolves have arrived and they are planning to invade our kingdom!"

Queen Elizabeth came outside wearing her curved royal crown that is made from silver with gold gildings. With an emerald gemstone in the center. Her long gown is made of silk and also rich in velvet covered by luxurious tunic and also contained embroidered lace and gems. Her necklace and earing are also made of gold that made her look so elegant. Not too long, Princess Olivia and Zendaya came out of the castle. Both of them wear tunics, purple gowns and six-strand necklaces.

King Solomon drew his curved Damascus sword and pointed it at the horse-drawn carriage where he saw King Abaddon was riding. The magicians of King Solomon fired at the horse carriage, but the king stopped them with his hand. "Hold your magic attack!"

King Abaddon came down from a horse carriage and his werewolf servants surrounded him. With the snap of his fingers, the magic barrier surrounding their horse carriage disappeared. "Long time no see, King Solomon!" Abaddon said as he approached King Solomon.

"Why are you here, King of the werewolf tribe? As far as I remember, you are not invited to my lavish birthday celebration. Get out of my Kingdom at once!" King Solomon yelled in anger.

When King Abaddon arrived in front of King Solomon, he drew his long sword Excaliber and tilted it to King Solomon's curved sword and spoke arrogantly. "I invited myself, King Solomon is that bad?"

King Solomon tightened his hold on his Damascus sword and maintained his loud voice. "Get out of my territory right now, you son of a b*tch!"

"Aren't we friends? Why are you treating me like this? Have you forgotten what we shared together?" Abaddon said sarcastically.

"You are a traitor, Abaddon! You are a self-centered creature with pure evil intentions!"

"If you still dwell on what happened 20 years ago, you are more stupid than I thought... I'm here because I want to strengthen my kingdom by negotiating with you to kneel before me and acknowledge me as your new king. That's the smartest way to avoid shedding a blood!"

"You are full of yourself, Abaddon... just because the moon is making you stronger every second does not mean you can defeat us in our own territory!"

"Father, don't let them defeat us in our own kingdom!" Olivia said. "I have yet to meet the man I will love forever!"

Elizabeth directed her magicians to surround and attack the werewolves who went into Berserk Mode, which sharpened their teeth and poison-coated claws and revealed a third eye on their forehead. King Solomon refused to budge and instead used circle magic on the ground. The body of King Solomon's magicians glowed and there were small green particles coming out of their bodies.

"I see, you are really a high enchanter magician King Solomon. Enhancing the powers of your magician is quite impressive. However we are unstoppable during the full moon. I am giving you a couple of minutes to surrender out of kindness!"

"Sure, over my dead bod!" replied King Solomon.

Elizabeth looked at the sky and suddenly it started to snow. She also covered the moon with clouds to weaken their enemy powers.

"Is that mean you are still not going to negotiate? That leaves me no other choice but to take your Kingdom by force!" said Abbadon.

King Solomon's sword became thinner and he crowned his entire body with a green aura. "Don't expect me to show you any mercy, you've been warned Abaddon!"

"Unfortunately, it's not my plan to kill you or your weak magicians, but it seems I can't get past you with a simple conversation!"

Zendaya and Olivia took their magical wands from their pockets and cast a thunderstrike at Abaddon, yet it didn't affect him to the slightest.

Queen Elizabeth also attacked Abaddon with ice magic but he disappeared. They all looked up and saw that Abaddon was flying with his black wings. King Solomon's magicians attacked him however, he covered his body with his wings. He pointed his palm at King Solomon and fired a moon explosive energy towards him. King Solomon used his anti-magic armor shield to block Abaddon's powerful attack. Due to the overwhelming powers of Abaddon, he collapsed on the ground.

Elizabeth helped Solomon to stand on his feet. "You okay, honey?"

"Yes, I am surprised, my strongest shield was not able to stop his attack!"

"Maybe we should work together, we can overwhelm them with our numbers!" said Elizabeth as she cast wind magic to blow away the werewolves.

In the blink of an eye, Abaddon appeared behind King Solomon. He strangled him by the neck. Elizabeth, Olivia, Zendaya, and their magicians' attacked were all ineffective. The magic circle cast by King Solomon gradually disappeared, causing his magicians to be weakened. The Berserk werewolves took this opportunity to kill King Solomon's magicians.

Venus was staring on the window and was worried with the King. She went inside the dungeon to free Charlotte and let her escape. She grabbed the cell bar and Charlotte put down the book she was reading and approached Venus.

"Charlotte... you need to escape this place immediately," said Venus while she's grasping to breathe.

"W-what's the matter? Why are you panting from running? And what about the sounds of clashing swords and screams I am hearing outside?" asked Charlotte curiously.

Venus retreated and she flailed her hand to activate Cancellation of magic barrier. "Cancelamento da barreria mágica ativada!"

Charlotte approaches Venus after she opens the door to her prison. "What does this mean? Isn't the magic barrier protecting me from the evil creatures outside?"

Venus frowned. "I'm sorry, Charlotte, I should have told you the truth!"

"What do you mean, star gazer Venus? Is there something I should know that my family has denied me?"

Venus gazed into Charlotte's scarlet eyes. "The real reason your parents aren't letting you out is because your siblings asked for it. They are jealous of your beauty. While you were in your mother's womb, they saw what you'll look like when you grow up. They're worried about your charm 'coz they know you can steal the attention of men obsessed with them. They poisoned your mind for a very long time!"

Charlotte's eyes were puffy and her face showed anger and surprise. "Did I do something bad? Is it my fault that I became a beautiful woman?"

"Listen carefully Charlotte, I know it's so damn hard for you to process the truth. You may have many unanswered questions now, but they are your family and you're the only one who can find a way to save them!"

"Let's go to them, ma-maybe they have a valid reason why they did that to me!"

Charlotte was about to walk up the stairs to their caste but Venus grabbed her hand to stop her. "Don't go up, there's a war going on right now outside your kingdom. From the looks of it, King Abaddon's werewolf tribe has already invaded your kingdom. Escape while you still have a chance, Charlotte... you can't save them now!"

"What about them? They still have to answer my questions?"

"There is a right time for you to meet again, remember that you are their only hope left. Please follow what I say before it's too late!"

"In what way? I'm just a weak magician and I don't have the skills to fight them."

"Charlotte, you need to find your compatible zodiac sign because he himself will help to save your family and return your kingdom from the hand of Abaddon. The star will surely guide me to see you again!"

Venus created a portal behind Charlotte. "Go and find your fated man!"

Charlotte turned behind and saw the black portal. "Where does this portal lead me to?"

"Take that tunnel out of our territory. Starting today, you are free! The Celestial Spirit world is too vast but I believe with all my heart that you will find your fated zodiac lover and go back here to reclaim your Kingdom!"

Venus felt that the werewolves had entered the castle. "Hurry, Charlotte. We have no time left. They have entered your kingdom and defeated your father and his magicians!"

Charlotte stomped her feet into the portal. She turned to Venus again and tearfully bid her farewell.

"Good luck on your journey!" Venus said smiling. She gestured her left hand sideways and the black portal closed.

There was a smile on Charlotte's face when she finally saw the world. Sunrise on a clear blue sky, fields of daisies, soft butterflies, tall trees, leaves glistening with dew streams and the soothing waves on the oceans. The birds sang happily as if they were happy for Charlotte.

She heard footsteps approaching and hid behind a mahogany tree. She saw two wounded Canopus magicians wearing purple robes and they could barely walk down the road. She didn't make any noise so they wouldn't catch her. Charlotte heard their conversation from where she was standing.

"I almost died fighting the werewolves, Arc!"

"You're right Akatsu, consider ourselves lucky that we managed to escape. We have to leave this place immediately!"

"The enemies are undeniably too strong, I am so disappointed that the King was defeated easily!"

Charlotte peeked on the shore of the sea and saw that there were wooden boats that she had only seen in the book. The wounded magicians boarded it, and then they left. Charlotte thought of following them both. She waited for them to go away before getting into the boat. She rowed out into the water, pushing further away from the shore. Into the middle of the oceans, where the air stands still. She was delighted to see leaves in the water sit almost perfectly still, and creatures beneath the ocean made her first journey exhilarating. As she follows the magicians, flying spears strike them and sink their boat. Charlotte immediately deviated from her path and landed on an island covered by many trees. She went ashore and put the boat aside.
