The Barbarian Alpha's Slave
Lewa August · Ongoing · 77.3k Words
Introduction
I was just an antisocial college virgin who was equally obsessed with werewolf books as my friend Cleo. But it took one night walking through campus, arguing about the latest werewolf book, for everything to change.
I got hit by a car and transmigrated into a barbarian werewolf world as the villain's daughter.
I’m meant to be the villain of the story, except now I have been captured by Rygar Drathern Skarr, the barbarian Alpha of the South, who has sworn vengeance on me and my father. Trapped in a savage, ancient, magical world, death seemed inevitable.
Until the powers of the full moon intervened.
“The only way out,” they say, “…is a contract marriage to appease the god.
“...you must mate rigorously on the Cliff of the Queens…a naked ride of pleasure with Rygar, Alpha of the park.”
“Marry the Alpha who wants you dead… or die as the villain you were born to be.”
Chapter 1
“I can't believe you'd say that. Ravena doesn't deserve any of this!” I lashed back at Cleo, my finger tucked into a page of the book in my hand.
“Well, I'm going to say it again. Everyone in Lithuan's park deserves what's coming for them, including his Ravena, his daughter!” Cleo's boots ground on the wet street we walked.
While other college students party, do drugs, and get wasted, I argue with my best friend (with an alarming obsession for fictional werewolf men) on the street, at midnight, while we walk back to our dorm.
Despite all my numerous personalities, the antisocial me decided to be the main character in my college story.
Cleo, my hot, geeky high school friend, has made it her life's ambition to initiate me into her obsession with her fictional crushes. And I'm just not buying it.
“Rygar prayed to the gods for death in his 15 slave years. But Lithuan enjoyed making him suffer and humiliating him. He raped and killed his mother and sisters right in front of him. I'm so glad he finally sliced that bastard’s head off.” Cleo continued like the fanatic that she is. You would think these people were real if you were walking past us.
“But what does that have to do with Ravena!” I groan frustratedly.
“Everything! Everything, Miss Eve Jones!”
Uh oh.
Cleo pulls up my full name when I've rattled her up. She's about to bring some detailed deconstruction on why I'm an idiot for not buying her theory that has no basis in reality.
“Eye for an eye is Karma in four words, Eve. It's how the barbarian world works, and frankly, I love it! Who doesn't love a good revenge story? Rygar would be merciful to give Ravena a quick death.”
“What's worse than that?”
“Ehr… rape, not by him…nah, she's too low for him…, but the omegas of his pack…in the muddy squeally barbarian ground of the north…right in front of the whole pack”
Urgh!
“You disgust me, Cleo. I'm ashamed that a 21st-century bitch like you would be obsessed with monsters like Alpha Rygar.”
Cleo swung her hair in the breeze, a knowing smile tucked her lips, like that was a compliment. “You're right, am I,” she winked.
Okay, that's it for me. Cleo was outrightly creeping me out now.
And no, she isn't done.
“You bet I made myself cum while clutching to the page when Alpha Rygars swings his giant sword and conquers the Lithuan park.” Cleo bit her bottom lip and squealed a slick moan
“Ewww, get away from me, Cleo…” my voice cracked into a vocal fry as I stepped out of the side work to the empty road, trying to get away from this horny freak.
Trust me when I tell you that when Cleo gets like this, there's no going back. I'm going to get the horniest rendition of her sexual exploits with her fictional werewolf crush.
Cleo followed after me, squealing and moaning, her eyes shut in ecstasy. “It was like his wolf was calling out to my wolf. Both of us fated mates, yet in different worlds. He showed me no mercy as he drilled me from behind…”
“Cleo! Ew! Get the fuck away from me…” I squealed an embarrassed laughter. “Help…somebody…I'm gonna get raped!”
I was so caught up in getting away from Cleo, that I didn't hear the blazing horn up the road, nor the grinding engine getting closer and closer to both of us as we laughed ourselves to tears on the main road.
It was quick.
The last thing I saw was a flash of light.
The flashing light of the vehicle that knocked me out.
—--
A crippling coolness took over me.
Did I…die?!
“Get off the ground, you sniveling, skimming lots!” I heard a growl echo in the distance.
Fuck!
Who was that?
I couldn't see a thing.
God, is this hell?
This is what I get for talking horny shit with my best friend?!
Suddenly, I felt a soft smack on my face. “My lady! My lady, please wake up!”
“You're our only hope! Please, my lady!”
My eyes stirred back to consciousness, and all I saw was the snowy skies with very strange, dirty faces hovering above me.
Where am I?
“She's alive!” I heard someone sing. And suddenly, everyone around me held their chest in relief.
Alive? I held my head as I sat up. The people who surrounded me were almost naked, their necks strung by shackles. They were wounded, their clothes thorned and tattered, ridden with mud, snow, and… God! What the fuck is that smell?!
I held my nose and winced away from them!
“What the…?” I stammered
“Who dares to stop the line!” I heard another growl that almost popped my eardrum. The people around me shuddered to their knees.
“On your knees, you good-for-nothing sick Lithuan blood!”
Did I just hear Lithuan? Is this a joke? I quickly shot up on my feet, looking around. Everything looked familiar. Like I had imagined it before. I know these people yet I've never seen them in my life.
“Where is Cleo?” I spat, looking around at the terrified souls around me. “We were on the road just now.”
“Please get on your knees, Lady Ravena!” The lady before me begged.
I didn't get a split second to process that before the beast, which growled like a wounded dog, lunged before me and slapped me to the muddy ground.
“On your knees, you wretched whore!” Growled the ugly giant man who slapped me.
I quickly wiggled up to my knees, holding my burning cheeks.
This can't be what I think. No, it can't.
That woman called me Ravena.
This is how reincarnation works in those stupid books Cleo shoved down my throat.
I can't be…
I looked down at my muddy, dirty hands, and my long, jet black hair fell limp on my shoulders. I don't remember outgrowing my curly bob hair! I winced back to the mud like I was trying to get away. From myself.
The man who slapped me threw his head back and laughed. “The tyrant's daughter has gone mad.”
No
No
No!
This can't be happening. I can't be….
“What's going on here?!” a growl from the distant cut through my thoughts. I heard his boots grind on the muddy ground till he was right in front of me.
My bones cracked with fear as I looked up. It was like looking right into the eyes of the devil himself. Those eyes, that wild hair. The scar on his left eye that I now remember vividly Lithuan gave to him.
It's Alpha Rygar Drathen Skarr!
I fucking reincarnated!
“She fell and hit her head! We thought she was dead!” The woman before me said. That woman. From her torn grey robe, she must be Aglet, Ravena’s maiden.
“Is that so?” Rygars scoffed without turning to her. His eyes still on me. Suddenly, he shoves his hand right to my neck and tilts my head forward so I match his eyes.
“Is journey wearing of your clean little feet, my lady?” He spat.
“You got the wrong person!” I tried to squirm my way out of his strong grip.
“You're right.” he pulled me so close I felt his breath on my face, his voice a fierce whisper in my ears. “Giving the years of torment your father put me and my family through, I should be more slow and careful with your death.” He shoved me back to the ground. And matched to the line of slaves. These were Ravena's people.
“Line the men up!” Rygars growled.
No, no, no.
The slow death…
The rape!
Why do I have to reincarnate as Ravena?!
At this fucking time!
Rygar’s men seized ten men. And lined them up in front of me.
Wait! These men are clad in black robes. These are Alpha Lithuan’s warriors.
In a blink of an eye, Rygar swung his giant sword and slew them all to crumple. Blood splattered everywhere.
And then with his sword still pointed at their fallen body, he turned to me, his eyes burning hot with bloodlust. “When we get to my park. You'll be next.”

On my birthday, he took her on vacation. On our anniversary, he brought her to our home and made love to her in our bed...
Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Invisible To Her Bully
A Lesson in Magic
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
