Introduction

Emily was about to graduate from college when her boyfriend betrayed her and her mother became seriously ill.
By accident, the super handsome billionaire Andre appeared in her life.
Emily hated Andre for being a playboy, but she had to become Andre's secret lover to cure her mother. As time flew by, Emily and Andre had silently fell in love with each other, but just when Emily was about to marry Andre, Andre's ex-wife came back from abroad...

Chapter 1

Emily's POV

"Emily, the guests in Room 1021 are literally the worst guests I've ever met here! Do you know them? That bearded guy and his son!" Nya was complaining to me about the guest she had just served, a man with a beard and his child who were staying in Room 1021.

The little boy was at an overly energetic age and ran around the first floor lobby like a monkey every day, while his father did not discipline his inappropriate and dangerous behavior; but if the boy accidentally fell over, the bearded man would always reprimand the attendant serving them.

They were indeed the kind of guests who could make things tricky.

"OK, OK, I know. Could you stop complaining about that? At least the bearded man gave you a big enough tip, didn't he?" I reassured her with a smile while turning my eyes to the garden.

The moon was particularly bright today and even without the light I could see the garden clearly.

The grass was bright green in the moonlight. The golf course was closed in the distance, and the garden was laid out to the end with various shrubs. I caught a whiff of fragrance, and the large red roses in front of me were bright red like blood, whose petals were gently swayed by the evening breeze. The irregularly rounded swimming pool was set like a sapphire in the middle of the garden.

Oh my God, what was that?

My eyes were widened in horror.

Nya looked as if she wanted to continue the complaint about the guests, but my attention had already shifted elsewhere. Unable to care what she was saying, I shoved all the dishes I was carrying into her hands and ran as fast as I could toward the pool!

Because there was a little girl standing at the edge of the pool, a little girl without any adult to lead her! At the point she had fallen at the edge of the pool, and her body kept tilting toward the pool and was about to fall into it!

  "Stop! Get out of there!"

But it was still too late, and by the time I ran to the pool, the girl had already fallen in the pool.

The pool was very deep. The surface of the water was five meters deep from the bottom of the pool at its deepest point. The pool was paved with marble, thus making the floor too slippery, plus the pool was wet near the pool, even adults would fall into the pool under negligence. So many customers and hotel staffs who are not good swimmers would choose to bypass this place.

Usually there were professional lifeguards around the pool to prevent people from drowning, but because the owner of the hotel is about to hold a party here, the pool needs to be replaced with new clean water and cleaned. So from today until the end of the party, the pool is no longer open to the public and the lifeguards have been removed.

"H......Help!" the little girl kept struggling in the pool. She didn't look like she could swim, and if no one rescued her, the five-meter-deep pool would have drowned her sooner or later.

I ran to the pool, took off my shoes, and jumped in without any hesitation.

Even though it was still summer, the water temperature of the pool at night was still a bit cold. The cold temperature of the pool water seeped through my shirt and froze my skin, making me shiver.

The little girl's struggling voice was slowly diminishing. As an adult, I couldn't stand the temperature in the pool at night, let alone a child! So I gritted my teeth and swam faster towards the little girl, finally grabbing her arm when she lost her strength and was about to be swallowed by the water.

Although it did not take much effort to swim to shore with a child in the water, but still exhausted all my strength.

When we got to shore, the little girl was already in a coma from choking, and Nya screamed and ran to find someone for help. But the little girl didn't have time to wait for the doctor to come, and if I didn't do first aid for her, she would surely die here.

I did not dare to pause and immediately did CPR for the girl.

Time passed and Nya did not return with a doctor. My body was frozen a little stiff, just when I was about to be unable to hold on, the girl finally vomited up all the water she had drunk and slowly opened her eyes.

  "Kate!"

A man was one step ahead of me and took the little girl into his arms, asking her about her condition with concern.

"Daddy, I'm fine, she saved me."

I stood up to say hello to Kate's father, but froze in place the moment I looked up.

The man was quite familiar as if I'd seen him before, I thought, maybe on the internet, but I couldn't remember. But that didn't stop me from marveling at this man's handsome face.

He was so handsome, like a work of art crafted by God. He had brown hair, blue eyes, a face like a Greek sculpture; he was tall and perfectly built.

God, how much thought did you put into creating such a perfect man?

I wanted to say hello to the man in front of me, but instead I saw the manager standing behind him gesturing at me. He told me not to say anything, so I kept my mouth shut.

No one spoke up to tell me to leave, and I assumed this customer still needed me, so I stood quietly in place and waited for his order. The night wind made me feel a little cold, and my soaked shirt clung to my body. My hair was dripping and the patch of grass I was standing on was already wet with water from my body.

This handsome man kept staring at me, and even after I glared back at him several times with potential warning, he continued to act as if he didn't see my anger and had no intention of averting his eyes.

I'd been stared at like this before when I went to the beach with Dylan. At then Dylan and I was falling in love with each other, and Dylan was very possessive of me. So all the dirty looks and offensive words were blocked by him when we were playing on the beach. But now that Dylan wasn't with me, the strange man's staring at me with such eyes only made me feel embarrassed and offended and angry.

I felt my cheeks heating up and I couldn't take the offensive stare any longer, so I crossed over to the man and tried to get out of there. But just as I reached him, the man suddenly reached out and grabbed my arm, "Miss, thank you so much for saving my Kate."

He gently glanced at the assistant behind him, who immediately pulled out a bank card and handed it to him.

"There's a sum of money in here, it's your reward for saving Kate." He held Kate with one hand, his taut arm muscles showing beautiful lines.

He handed me the card with his other hand, "May I know your name?"

He was still looking at me with his deep eyes from top to bottom, like those of a vicious wolf almost making me feel like standing naked in front of him.

"No sir, saving a drowning child is what I should do, I don't need any reward."

"Beautiful lady, if you don't want money, then may I invite you to dine with me at the restaurant to show my gratitude? We can also get to know each other further."

The man emphasized the word "get to know each other". I wasn't stupid, so of course I understood exactly what he meant by "gett to know". This gave me a feeling of being offended and my impression of the man in front of me became even worse.

I broke away from the man's hand with force and glared at his blue pupils and said in a cold voice, "No need, sir! I have work to do, forgive me for being offended."

Fearing that he would grab me again, I finished my sentence and turned and ran towards the staff dressing room without waiting for his reply.

  Andre's POV

When I saw her for the first time, I could no longer hear any sound from all around me, only the beautiful face of this girl was left in front of me.

I had never seen such a woman. She was beautiful, seductive, like the cursed Medusa in Greek mythology, and like Freya, the goddess of love and beauty in Norse mythology, even the devil had to fall under her skirt.

I could feel my heart beating chaotically in my chest because of her. I was in love.

I must have this woman, she can only be mine.

As she tried to turn away from me, I subconsciously grabbed her arm. I wanted to express my gratitude to her for saving my Kate, and I wanted to invite her to dine with me. But her guard was too strong, and while I was diverting my attention to observe the state of Kate, she actually took the opportunity to flee my side without even telling me her name.

I did not rush to chase, but waved at the hotel manager. Even if she didn't tell me her name, there were many ways I could learn her name.

"What's her name?" I asked the manager who was standing by.

One Night. One Mistake. One Lifetime of Consequences.

I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.

My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.

But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.

In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.

"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.

"Who the fuck is Jason?"

My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.

I ran away for my life!

But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!

They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.

Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”

There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
