She is more than she knows...
Chapter 1
Freya stood alone in the heavy rain.
Her clothes were torn, and she was completely exhausted, but she refused to give up.
Suddenly, a rogue lunged at her with a loud growl.
Freya moved instantly. She swung her knife with all her strength, cutting straight through its head. The rogue's body crashed to the ground.
Another one struck from behind.
The blow knocked Freya to her knees. Pain shot through her body, but she did not hesitate. She drove her knife backward, straight into the rogue's throat. The creature choked and collapsed.
She forced herself back to her feet.
For a moment, there was silence. Then, more rogues emerged from the darkness.
Freya's heart sank. There were too many of them. Her arm was already tired, and every muscle ached. She could barely breathe. She knew she couldn't last much longer.
Slowly they surrounded her. Freya tightened her grip on her knife, preparing for the end.
Suddenly, a thunderous roar shook the clearing. The sound was so powerful that it vibrated in the air. Every rogue froze. Their growls died instantly, replaced by fear.
Slowly they began to back away.
Freya looked up as a massive figure that had appeared from the rain.
He was unlike anything she had ever seen. Dark fur covered his enormous body. He was half man, half beast, with golden eyes that glowed in the dark. He looked terrifying, yet strangely beautiful.
He let out another loud growl, and the remaining rogues fled into the night.
Freya stared at him in stunned silence.
Then, her knees gave out. As her surroundings went black, she felt his strong arms catch her before she hit the ground.
Back in the castle...
Caspian, the Lycan King, entered the throne room without a word.
Selene hurried toward him the moment she saw the blood covering his clothes.
"My love, what happened?" she asked anxiously. "You're covered in blood."
Caspian didn't even look at her. "It's not my blood."
She released a breath of relief. "I was worried."
Caspian finally stopped and turned toward her.
"And I've told you before," he said coolly. "Stop referring to me as your love."
She folded her arms across her chest. "Why? I am your mate, remember?"
A flicker of annoyance crossed his face. "You are not my mate."
Before Selene could respond, another voice echoed through the throne room.
"Caspian!"
Queen Maravelle swept through the doors, her dark gown trailing behind her.
"What is this I am hearing?" she demanded. "The servants claim you returned carrying a strange human girl. They say you took her directly to your chambers and ordered everyone to stay away from her."
Selene's eyes widened. "What?"
Caspian walked up the steps to his throne and sat down. "Yes, Mother. I gave that order."
Queen Maravelle narrowed her eyes. "And who exactly is she? Another one of your foolish charity cases?"
"No." Caspian rested one arm on the throne. "She was being hunted by rogues."
"Then she should have been taken to the healers," Maravelle replied, "not your private chambers."
Caspian's expression remained unreadable. "Since when do you care who is in my chambers?"
"Since the moment the entire palace started whispering about it."
Selene's gaze moved between them, waiting for an answer.
Instead, Caspian looked at her. "Leave us, Selene."
"What?"
"I need to speak with my mother alone."
Selene's hands curled into fists at her sides. For a moment, it seemed as though she might argue. Then, she lifted her chin.
"Very well, Your Majesty."
She turned sharply and walked out, the heavy doors closing behind her.
"What are you not telling me?" Maravelle asked.
"She's my mate," Caspian said calmly.
For a long moment, the Queen Mother remained silent. She simply stared at him. Then, slowly, a smile touched her lips.
"Your mate," she whispered. "At last." A soft laugh escaped her. "The Moon Goddess has finally answered my prayers. Do you know how long I have waited to hear those words?"
She began pacing before the room.
"For years, I watched alphas and nobles present their heirs while my son remained unmated. The kingdom needs a queen, Caspian. It needs stability. It needs an heir."
For the first time since entering the throne room, genuine happiness shone in her eyes. Then she stopped, and her smile faded.
"If this girl is a nobody," she said quietly, "then she is not fit to stand beside you."
She pointed to the wall displaying the names of past queens. "A queen is not chosen by fate alone. She must be strong enough to rule. She must command respect and strengthen the kingdom. I will not watch the future of this kingdom be placed in the hands of some nameless human girl."
Caspian's golden eyes met hers. "I did not choose her," he said. "The Goddess chose her for me. Whether she has a title or a fortune is irrelevant to me."
"I am not questioning the Goddess. I am questioning the girl. If she proves unworthy, you will reject her."
Caspian growled, rising from his throne.
"That will never happen. Unless the Goddess tells me otherwise, mother."

Iron And Glamour Just Don't Mix
Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.
The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.
