Chapter 1
"Sapphire RUNNNNNNN!!!!! Babygirl RUNNNNNN!! I'll find you someday" the voice screams as I jolt awake. That's the only thing that I remember of this recurring dream that I've had for the last year. It's almost as if the voice is trying to find me and I can't remember anything else. Ive been waiting for today to hurry It's my 21st Birthday and the private investigator that I hired with the help of momma Stephs help thank gosh because I wouldn't know the first thing about searching for anyone. Realizing as im brushing my hair I've never really questioned my strange but beautiful streak in my hair that I've had since I can remember silver through my chocolate color hair. The silver made my bright blue eyes pop I bairly had to wear any makup my skin was so clear with an olive tone smooth as ever. I got lucky in that department. most girls would kill to have such smooth and vibrant skin I've never broken out in teen ackne or even gotten sick its weird but I love that about myself I have a strong and healthy body for real. "Sapphire your going to be late love 10 minutes till the detective is here," she yelled from the bottom of the stairs. I'm coming momma I'm getting dressed," I hurriedly said as I throw on my black ripped jeans,white cami and leather jacket. Running down the stairs just as theres a knock on the door, my heart races I've got so much energy and I don't know how to explain but Feel if as I can run a mile and still keep running. Momma answers the door and she brings them in the livingroom where I'm sitting waiting eagerly for them."Hello Ms. Stone I'm Alex and this is my partner Max we have been waiting to meet you. I know that its not a lot but you have a big start you have a decison to make. we found the small town where your family is from and if your wanting we can set something up to take you or," he stops mid air as I cut him off. ''NO. I'm sorry actually id like to drive there myself and go this far by myself if thats possible. This is big for me and momma i want this," I breathed out looking at her hoping shes not disappointed but for some reason I could feel her pain radating from her. ''Sapph whatever you wanna do I support you no matter what. I will always be your mom no matther what you know that," She smiles through tears. I know alot of people probably wonder why not leave my past behind me but for some reason I know this is what I am supposed to do my gut is telling me yess and it's never wrong. I've always been curious about where I come from and thats not wrong for anyone. But now this dream just has me really needing to fiure out whats going on because it didn't just feel like a dream it's like I was really there. I open the folder and there is 2 photos, a male and a female there beauty was elegant and the way the stood there grounds its almost formal but angient it was mystical like they seemed like they were very much well capable to raise a child so what could possible have happened? The woman she looked vaguely familiar. All of a sudden my heart renched forwards as if all of my body is saying RUN!! I didn't understand what was wrong all I knew was I had to make a decision to stay or go, and my gut and heart both say GO! I look at my momma and then back to Alex and Max,'' I know leaving that this is all fast but I think I want to do this I'm ready. I'm finally 21 and this is my chance to figure out who i really am and what I want to do with my future. This is going to be an adventure for me weither It's good or not it's time for me to figure thins out on my own. Thank you so much I have a place and 2 faces thats a big start. I am going to go do some packing,''i explain as i run upstairs. My mind was racing I am so reasdy for this chance i shouldn't need much just breathe focus Tomorrow can change everything even my destiny.
