Chapter 1
Everything was perfect.
I had a perfect life: the life I always wanted, the life I always imagined having.
My family was amazing, my friends were wild and loyal, and the best guy in this world loved me. I loved my life.
Everything was perfect. I was happy.
Then suddenly, I wasn’t.
One day.
One single minuscule day that changed everything in my life. From the place I called my home to the direction of my lip, everything went upside down.
It was a warm Sunday evening in March. I had just returned home after a warm and cuddle-filled date in my boyfriend’s bed when I heard my mom calling me from the living room.
My mom, Kavya Sehloth, was a compassionate, jolly woman in her late 40′s but with a figure, even I - her 21-year-old daughter - envied. She was slim, in a way only a woman with amazing genes could be without having to exercise, and she had a smile that showed all thirty-two teeth (famously called ‘battissi’ by friends and family). Her dark brown eyes with flecks of gold, the same as mine, always showed love or happiness.
Today though, they were missing.
Instead, the brown was filled with sadness and guilt, and the gold of happiness was absent.
That is why, the moment I saw her beautiful brown face, I stilled and with a huge frown on my head asked, “Is everything okay?”
Did any of our relatives die? Maybe the old grandmother who always nagged me about my complexion or maybe that smelly old uncle who thinks I should practise making ‘round rotis’ because otherwise, no man would want me?
If it’s them, good riddance! We don’t need their negative energy on this earth. Not to be rude or anything, but they were very old - they already outlived their ages – also, they were very toxic and probably snatched a few years from poor irritated people.
As much as I hope, I don’t think it’s them, she wouldn’t be so sad or look so.. so... broken?
What had happened?
What could have gone so horribly wrong that my mother, the ‘look at the positive side of things’ mother, could feel depressed?
When she still didn’t answer, I grabbed her arms and asked again, “Mumma, what’s wrong? Are you okay? Is everything okay?”
“No, it’s not. Nothing is okay”, she cried, her usually smooth voice breaking.
Instinctively, I reached out and pulled her tall figure in a hug. Wrapping my arms around her body, I gently patted her head as I heard a sob break from her lips on my generous bosom. I hugged her tightly as my heart broke a little.
I had never seen her cry, never. But now, my beautiful, compassionate mother - who was always so strong - was breaking down in my arms. This wasn’t just shocking or heartbreaking, it was frightening; because something that could break my mother had the power to shatter me to my core.
At that moment, I didn’t know how false my statement was, because the news didn’t just shatter me, it crushed my heart and my very being into small pieces with a bucket full of salt to burn my cuts. Never had I known the pain, the sound of my heart crushing until this moment. Never had I known what it was to have everything and yet, nothing.
When she finally calmed, at least enough to untangle herself from my arms, she stared at me with red-rimmed eyes and said, “You have to marry” and choked on a sob.
“I know, I even have my husband ready and waiting”, I joked, trying to lighten the mood, trying to extract even a hint of happiness from her eyes - her usually always smiling eyes.
But none came. Instead, she stared at me pitifully - Pitifully? - as a tear rolled down her cheek.
“What is it, mom?”
“Rexy”, she grabbed my arms and said, “I... I... I’m sorry”
And I could see it. Whatever it was, it was breaking her from inside. She regretted it, she wished she could change it and she wished she wasn’t so helpless or hopeless.
Ditto, mom! I wish the same, right at this moment.
“Please don’t hate me”, sobbed her mother and I hugged her again, pulling her shivering figure closer to mine.
“I could never hate you, mom. Especially when I know, whatever it is, it’s killing you from inside. Just tell me, mom, what is it?”
“Your dad and I have chosen a man for you to marry and you... you are going to marry him, three days later”
“Wh.. what?“, I stammered as I pushed myself away from her. I couldn’t have heard right, surely not! This was a joke, it had to be. There was no other way around it. I hopelessly stared in her eyes, begging her to prove my disbelief over what I heard but what she said instead...
“I’m sorry! Break up with Dev and three days from now, you are going to marry someone else. Someone better, I assure you”, she said, in a voice that should’ve sounded convincing, but it wasn’t. Because it was a lie.
No one could be better than Dev. No one.
Dev is everything to me, everything, and she wouldn’t dare separate me from him.
“Mom! Please be serious”, I cried.
“I am, I am, darling. I wouldn’t ask this of you if it wasn’t so important. You have to marry him, Rex. It is a matter of life and death”, she explained as she wiped her tears away.
“No”, I shouted. “No! No! No! I’m not marrying anybody else, Dev is my life and anyone else is my death”
I looked at my mother, with huge watering eyes, pleading- begging - her to tell that this was a joke; that all of this was a bad joke. When she didn’t answer, I added in a sobbing voice, “Mom, I can’t live without him. You know I can’t. I love him. Please don’t do this to me mom, please” and collapsed on my knees as I gazed up in her eyes.
“You don’t have to live without him, all I’m asking is to marry another man - you can still have Dev in your life”
My eyes widened. Did I hear right? Surely not.
I pushed myself on my legs and asked, “What? You want me to cheat? Mom, you? What is wrong with you?”
There was something definitely wrong here. My mom wouldn’t, even in my wildest dreams, advice me to cheat on a man I’m supposed to marry if this wasn’t serious. I didn’t know what it was, but I had to find out.
“What is it, mom? What is this life and death situation? Why do I have to marry someone I don’t know?“, I asked her, my voice soft yet demanding. I wanted the answers. I needed the answers. I demanded them of her.
“Your dad has...“, she started but she before could utter anything else, I heard the sharp voice of my dad from behind me.
“The reasons do not concern you, she told you what you need to do and you are going to do it. End of discussion”, my dad - a tall, muscular man with eyes as deadly as a bullet from a gun and a heavy voice that demanded every inch of you to obey - said in a tone of dismissal.
But I wouldn’t be dismissed. Not now, when my life and my happiness are in danger.
“No, I want to know why. I won’t marry him and you can’t force me to marry him because I’ll run away if you bloody do”, I snapped at him, shocking both him and myself. I loved my dad, respected with every fibre of my being, and I had never, never raised my voice at him.
He controlled his aggression and irritation, I could see it in his eyes the effort it took for him to do that, and instead calmly stated, “You’ve watched enough movies to know that in some situations, ‘the less you know, the better for you’. This is one such situation. You are going to marry him and I don’t want any more discussions on this topic”, after a sigh, he added, “I just wish you’d trust me, your dad, enough to believe when I say, I wouldn’t do this to you if I had any other option”
I stared at him in disbelief. I trusted him, alright, but was he really trying to guilt-trip me into marrying someone I don’t know without giving me a bloody reason? Yes, yes he was, and it was working.
I trusted him, blast him! I trusted him! He wanted the best of me, always, and though he was choking the very life out of me right at this moment, the other option was probably worse.
“Daddy! I trust you, I really do! But I want to know, please! Why? “, I pleaded one last time, desperate for answers as tears gathered in my eyes.
He shook his head and left the living room, my mom following close behind him.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
Badass in Disguise
"Jade, I need to check your—" the nurse began.
"OUT!" I snarled with enough force that both women backed toward the door.
Once feared by Shadow Organization that drugged me to replicate my abilities into a more controllable version, I had escaped my restraints and detonated their entire facility, ready to die alongside my captors.
Instead, I woke up in a school infirmary with women arguing around me, their voices piercing my skull. My outburst froze them in shock—clearly they hadn't expected such a reaction. One woman threatened as she left, "We'll discuss this attitude when you get home."
The bitter truth? I've been reborn into the body of an overweight, weak, and supposedly dim-witted high school girl. Her life is filled with bullies and tormentors who've made her existence miserable.
But they have no idea who they're dealing with now.
I didn't survive as the world's deadliest assassin by allowing anyone to push me around. And I certainly won't start now.
Accidentally Crossing the Tycoon
Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.
Just when bankruptcy seemed inevitable, a mysterious benefactor emerged, offering salvation with one condition: a contract marriage.
Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
Danielle Harris is the daughter of an overprotective police chief and has led a sheltered life. As a kindergarten teacher, she's as far removed from the world of Harleys and bikers as you could get, but when she's rescued by the sexy and dangerous Austin Carver, her life is changed forever.
Although Austin 'Booker' Carver is enamored by the innocent Dani, he tries to keep the police chief's daughter at arm's length. But when a threat is made from an unexpected source, he finds himself falling hard and fast for the only woman who can tame his wild heart.
Will Booker be able to find the source of the threat before it's too late?
Will Dani finally give her heart to a man who's everything she's been warned about?
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride
Yet Alexander made his decision clear to the world: “Evelyn is the only woman I will ever marry.”
Chosen By The Cursed Alpha King
"But I will survive."
I whispered it to the moon, to the chains, to myself—until I believed it.
They say Alpha King Maximus is a monster — too big, too brutal, too cursed. His bed is a death sentence, and no woman has ever left it alive. So why did he choose me?
The fat, unwanted omega. The one my own pack offered up like trash. One night with the merciless King was supposed to end me. Instead, it ruined me. Now I crave the man who takes without mercy. His touch burns. His voice commands. His body destroys. And I keep going back for more. But Maximus doesn't do love. He doesn't do mates. He takes. He owns. And he never stays.
"Before my beast consumes me completely—I need a son to take the throne."
Too bad for him…I'm not the weak, pathetic girl they threw away. I'm something far more dangerous —the one woman who can break his curse… or break his kingdom.

Triplet Alpha: My Fated Mates
"No." "I'm fine."
"Fuck," he breathes. "You're—"
"Don't." My voice cracks. "Please don't say it."
"Aroused." He says it anyway. "You're aroused."
"I'm not—"
"Your scent." His nostrils flare. "Kara, you smell like—"
"Stop." I cover my face with my hands. "Just—stop."
Then his hand on my wrist, pulling my hands away.
"There's nothing wrong with wanting us," he says softly. "It's natural. You're our mate. We're yours."
"I know." My voice is barely a whisper.
I spent ten years as a ghost in the Sterling mansion—a debt slave to the triplet Alphas who made my life hell. They called me "Carrot," shoved me into frozen rivers, and left me to die in the snow when I was eleven.
On my eighteenth birthday, everything changed. My first shift released a scent of white musk and first snow—and three former tormentors stood outside my door, claiming I was their fated mate. All three of them.
Overnight, the debt vanished. Asher's commands turned to vows, Blake's fists became trembling apologies, and Cole swore they'd been waiting for me all along. They declared me their Luna and promised to spend their lives atoning.
My wolf howls to accept them. But one question haunts me:
Would that eleven-year-old girl, freezing and certain she would die, forgive the choice I'm about to make?
The Alpha King's Hated Mate
"You? Reject me? I refuse your rejection, you can't escape me mate," he spat his voice filled with hatred. "Because I am going to make you regret that you were born, you will beg for death but you won't find it. This is my promise to you."
Raven Roman is the most hated wolf in her pack, condemned for a crime her family committed against the Royal Family. Bullied, humiliated, and treated as a curse, she has survived every wound fate has dealt her until it delivers the cruelest twist of all.
Her fated mate is none other than Alpha King Xander Black, the ruthless ruler whose family her own once betrayed. The man who wants her destroyed. When she tries to reject him, he refuses, vowing to make her life a living nightmare.
But nothing is as simple as hatred.
There are truths buried beneath their shared past—secrets, lies, and a dangerous pull neither can deny. A bond that refuses to break. And as their worlds collide, Raven begins to uncover the darkness that has shaped both of their destinies.
Betrayal. Power. An enemy lurking in the shadows. Will Xander and Raven overcome the sins of their bloodlines and stand together against the forces threatening their world? Or will their hatred consume them long before the truth can set them free?
