Until one evening she decides to surprise him early from work. But as she steps into their apartment, she notices something’s off.
Gabriel is home, but he isn’t alone. She walks up to the bedroom where she finds her husband’s head buried between the legs of a red haired woman who is nothing close to being thick.
Unapologetic about it, he straight up asks for a divorce . After the divorce shatters her, she disappears… only to return a year later with a transformed body, sharpened confidence, and a legal mind ready for war.
Chapter 1
That day, I got off work early and brought home some pastry. I slipped the key in the lock of our big apartment and shouldered the door open but paused when I heard a noise from upstairs.
Gabby was supposed to be at work. His company was at its crucial state and he had spared no chance in letting me know he needed all the time he could afford to be at work.
Maybe he had popped home for lunch because he was free that day. I opened my mouth to call out to him, but a sound came from upstairs, stopping me from doing so. It was a faint groan, but it was feminine. That was clearly not Gabby.
I quickly opened my bag and got out my pepper spray. There was an intruder in the house. I wanted to take out my phone to call Gabby but I figured I could be distracting him from his work.
I slowly moved upstairs counting my steps. For some dumb reason I was still holding the box of cupcakes in my hand.
I halted abruptly on the last stairs when I heard a woman's sharp cry. My eyes widened.
No! No, maybe I was over thinking. My Gabby could never hurt me like that.
But laying on the floor outside our bedroom door was a red bra, a woman’s heels and my husband’s jacket.
I grabbed the doorframe with my right hand to hold myself upright. I looked in the creak of the door and what I saw drained every blood in my body.
There in the middle of our bedroom was my naked husband and an equally naked red haired woman.
What was more disgusting was when I saw his head buried between her legs, eating whatever he found there.
I stood there in total disbelief. I watched him pleasure himself between her legs and up to her mouth. Then he flipped her over and slapped her butty.
“Scream my name baby” he hit her backside over and over. I clearly heard her say “Yes daddy, right there Gabby.”
Then he did something that made my world shatter completely. He mimicked my voice, high-pitched and whiny. The way I would beg him to satisfy me.
"Gabby, please let me come first. Gabby I’m still horny don't you want me? Gabby, what am I doing wrong?"
They both burst into cruel laughter that echoed off the walls.
My hands went numb. The box of cupcakes slipped from my hands and hit the floor with a crash. Butter icing spilled out across white tile like a pool of blood.
Immediately, our eyes locked . All three of us. He let her go and I could see her scramble for the sheets and cover whatever little dignity she could have left.
Gabby ran a hand through his hair, guilt flickering across his face now, maybe pity. I saw him shove it away.
“I don’t owe you any apology.” He said without remorse. “Clean up that mess once you’re done sulking. I knew you’d catch up eventually.” He sighed and pulled the red hair with him into the bathroom.
What did he mean by catch up eventually? This wasn’t the first time? How could Gabriel do this to me? On our matrimonial bed? This was too much.
Tears streamed down my face as I heard him turn on the shower with her still in the bathroom. I remembered how I once brought up trying foul play before engaging but he said he was a man who went in straight. But what I had just witnessed was not a man who went in straight.
And using his mouth ? Oh no that’s a whole different thing. I had begged him on several occasions to use his mouth on me but he said it was disgusting and against his principles. But, he had always moaned when I went down on him.
He clearly enjoyed receiving it the same way he enjoyed giving it. But clearly, not to me . I was devastated. Gabriel had destroyed everything I stood for. When did my marriage crumble this much?
I could still hear noises coming from the bathroom. Moaning. Laughter. Flesh slapping against flesh in the shower.
I had no one to run to at that moment. I had no family, no friends, nothing. His family hated me for the way I looked. They never took me seriously on anything.
I gathered the remaining dignity I had, went back downstairs to the kitchen and waited for them to finish their activities.
It took two whole hours before I heard Gabriel’s voice in the sitting room. He opened the door and I heard a car drive into our driveway.
I looked through the window and saw him kiss the red hair before she got into the cab. As the car drove away, he blew her a kiss.
I moved to the sitting room, eyes red and puffy from crying. I could see the disgust and resentment in his eyes when he walked back in and saw me in the sitting room.
“Thought you’d left.” He said without making eye contact.
“Gabriel, I just need answers.” I cried.
“What answers do you need? Are you doing to start the victim drama every woman starts when she finds her husband with another woman? Okay let me help you.
Oh Gabby where did I go wrong? Gabby, wasn't I enough for you?” He mocked me. I burst out crying harder than I was before.
One thing was clear, he had no remorse for what he’d done. The man I saw standing before me wasn’t the man who had promised me the entire world two years ago. This man was a demon. He was the devil himself.
“You know what ? Since you’ve already found out, let’s get a divorce. There is no need pretending anymore. We are both no longer happy with this marriage.” He said reaching for the couch.
“How dare you gaslight this ? No, go on,” I said, my voice trembling despite my effort to steady it. “Finish what you were saying. We’re both unhappy?”
My chest rose and fell unevenly. “Is that what you tell yourself so you can sleep at night? That this—” I gestured vaguely, as if the betrayal itself hung in the air between us “—is mutual?”
“Nicole, don’t do this.”
“Don’t do what?” I shot back. “Don’t react? Don’t feel humiliated? Don’t acknowledge that my husband just fucked another woman before my eyes like I didn’t exist?”
His jaw tightened. “Lower your voice. I don’t want the neighbors hearing.”
“How long has this been going on Gabriel?” I shouted.
“For months now. I no longer find you attractive. You gain weight by the second. Nicole, you are fatter than life itself.” He laughed.

The CEO's Unspoken Love
Before I could answer, he moved closer, suddenly looming over me, his face inches from mine. I felt my breath caught, my lips parting in surprise.
"Then this is the price for speaking ill of me to others," he murmured, nipping my lower lip before claiming my mouth in a real kiss. It began as punishment but quickly transformed into something else entirely as I responded, my initial rigidity melting into compliance, then active participation.
My breathing accelerated, small sounds escaping my throat as he explored my body. His touches were both punishment and pleasure, drawing shudders from me that I thought he felt reverberating through his own body.
My nightgown had ridden up, his hands discovering more of mine with each caress. We were both lost in sensation, rational thought receding with each passing second...
