Pregnant with the Cruel Alpha's Baby
Raquel Rasinhas do Nascimento Alexandrino · Completed · 129.2k Words
Introduction
"My lord, several months have passed, and the young lady has not shown any signs of being pregnant?"
"How many times must I repeat myself not to question my decisions, Beta? She will bear a child because that's why I bought her, to have the rightful alpha heir. And when that child is born, the curse will be broken, and I can rid myself of the burden of having her in my castle, forever."
The moment I secretly heard these words, my heart broke. The King Logan didn't love me, and perhaps he never would. He only wanted the baby growing inside me and could take it from me without hesitation. Tears streamed down my face, and the pain of separating from Logan in that way was both dreadful and terrifying. But I couldn't go back now.
I descended through the castle walls, hiding in the shadows of the trees, and evading the few soldiers on patrol. I was alone now, just my baby and me, fleeing from the Cruel Alpha King.
After being sold by her stepfather to the Alpha King, Charlotte sees herself as a mere tool to bear him an heir, but her hopes are reignited when she discovers that he is her predestined mate.
However, that hope doesn't last long as the indifference of the Alpha King destroys her heart. In desperation, Charlotte sees only one option: to take control of her destiny for the first time in her life, not only to protect her future but also the future of the one who will become the Alpha of the Lunarhaven wolf pack, even if it means being apart from her mate. What she doesn't know is that Logan, the ruthless Alpha King, is capable of anything to obtain what he desires.
Chapter 1
Charlotte
Our trip lasted a little more than a month, and there weren't many of us in our group. This was because we didn't have a very important position in the wolf pack. My stepfather, my mother's second-chance mate, expressed his intent to seek aid from the powerful Alpha King. I was instructed to go with him on this mission, not only as an obedient daughter but also to broaden my horizons by learning from other wolf packs. At least, that's what my stepfather had mentioned shortly after we had set out. My education had been limited to basic survival skills. I had yet to grasp the size of what awaited us.
We set up our camp near an established wolf pack, positioned beyond the protective walls of Greenbelt City.
We were warned not to enter the city as wolves, since that would be seen as a provocative and aggressive action towards the Lunarhaven wolf pack. This pack, along with the nearby ones and those living in the Reims woods, recognized the strong rule of the fearsome Alpha King, Logan Blackwood.
"This order is so silly," one of the wolves with my stepfather and me complained, as they watched the distant movements of other wolves. "To wait until dawn and then shift into human form is a humiliation."
"We're discussing the mighty Alpha King, the Lycan who defeated the former leader and took over the throne," another person in the group remarked, their tone carrying a sense of understanding. I kept a little distance, shielding myself from the cold as I listened to their conversation.
"I don't mind if he's mean, crazy, or whatever else, as long as we get what we want," my stepfather gave me a cold look, his expression full of dislike. Overwhelmed by the weariness from our strenuous journey, I withdrew even more, steering clear of any hint that could fuel his anger toward me.
Stories about the merciless Alpha King had reached even the farthest corners of the continent, including our pack. I struggled to grasp why a strong leader like him would give assistance to a small, distant group like ours, and I couldn't figure out why my stepfather was selected as the messenger. A shiver ran through me, making my fur stand on end. Opting to save my energy, I surrendered to sleep, getting ready for the likely conflict that awaited at sunrise.
As the sun rose, we changed from wolves to humans in appearance. The guards who led us gave us proper clothes for entering the city. Our trip led us to the impressive building that was the castle. While my stepfather looked pleased, I was confused about why we were really there. Even though I didn't know much about the world outside our pack, I was sure that asking for help wouldn't normally must such a grand setup, especially from a king known for being harsh.
"Father," my stepfather's glare prompted me to shrink away. "I extend my apologies, my lord."
"Just state your goal outright," he said, irritation evident in his tone. I took a deep breath and lowered my head.
"Are we truly here to seek aid from the mighty Alpha King?" My stepfather's stride came to a sudden halt, his features twisted with a murderous rage in his gaze. He seized my hair by the scalp, pulling me closer to him.
"How dare you challenge my authority, you wretched impure?" Struggling against tears, I shook my head vehemently in denial. His grip loosened, and he continued walking without saying another word. Our companions, now in human form, laughed, openly entertained by my difficult predicament.
In the midst of many stares, some filled with understanding and others dripping with disdain, I stood as the child of a she-wolf rejected by her mate, left to take care of herself even while pregnant in a pack where she didn't belong. We survived on small bits of food until my stepfather extended a helping hand, forming a bond with my mother. Even as things improved, the burden of social biases lingered, adding to my stepfather's continuous annoyance towards my mother and me.
Staying quiet throughout the remaining journey, I saw the golden gates ahead and felt a mix of awe and acceptance. Our modest group had never experienced such luxury. At eighteen years old, my life had barely extended beyond my mother's protective presence, and I hadn't yet met the mate chosen for me by Luna. Confined within our territory, I remained unfamiliar with the world beyond.
Inside the city, most people took on human form, projecting an air of calmness. But, I found it hard to adapt to my unusual outfit. Following my mother's guidance to assume a human form for potential human interactions, this moment marked my first authentic transformation. Using clumsy fingers, I tousled the gentle waves of brown hair draping over my shoulders, astounded by the uncanny resemblance in color to my beloved fur.
The castle's interior rivaled its exterior in splendor - golden accents intertwined with masterful sculptures, opulent fabrics, and radiant paintings. But, the castle was in complete disarray. Paintings were torn, frames askew, and curtains ripped, as if reflecting the fragility of our fate, contingent upon the whims of the Alpha King.
We were left in a weathered waiting room, as our companions lodged in the city, beyond the walls of the grand castle. Time went by with no one approaching us, and then my stepfather was called away, leaving me to confront the overwhelming silence within that large chamber all by myself. Surveying my surroundings, I ventured to the window, observing a bustle outside - men hauling boxes and packages on various carts. And then, my eyes locked onto a sight that ignited a spark of panic in my heart. My stepfather, holding a piece of parchment, wore a satisfied smile as he walked alongside the group beyond the castle's protective walls. Anxiety surged - where was he going? And why was I being abandoned in this manner?
The room's entrance swung open, revealing a Lycan enshrouded in a blend of gray, white, and black fur. His eyes, vibrant pools of deep blue, bore into me, tracing a path across the scars that mapped his neck and arms. Rising above the threshold of the door, his stature was such that he had to stoop to pass through the doorframe. His imposing presence coerced me to kneel, a silent submission to his dominance. This was the Lycan King, yet an enigma lingered—why someone of such grandeur stood in that place before me, a wolf of lesser origin?

George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."

Alpha Nicholas's Little Mate
What? No—wait… oh Moon Goddess, no.
Please tell me you're joking, Lex.
But she's not. I can feel her excitement bubbling under my skin, while all I feel is dread.
We turn the corner, and the scent hits me like a punch to the chest—cinnamon and something impossibly warm. My eyes scan the room until they land on him. Tall. Commanding. Beautiful.
And then, just as quickly… he sees me.
His expression twists.
"Fuck no."
He turns—and runs.
My mate sees me and runs.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The War God Alpha's Arranged Bride

Invisible To Her Bully
My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate
My drunk stepfather remained indifferent, his weight suffocating, making it hard to breathe as my heart raced.
Suddenly, the door slammed open, and two figures burst in.
"Get off her!" a deafening roar echoed.
I didn't expect the twin brothers who'd bullied me at school to come charging in like gods to save me.
After my grandmother passed, I had to move in with my mom and stepdad, who treated me like a servant. I prayed every day for my 18th birthday to come, so l could leave and escape this broken home.
However, on my first day at my new school, l encountered the legendary twins everyone feared.
To make matters worse, the Moon Goddess revealed they were both my mates!
After helping me out with my stepdad, my twin mate cornered me, played with my hair, and whispered possessively, "You belong to us, our little mate..."
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
