The Mafia Boss Is The Man Of My Dreams
Reedah · Completed · 196.2k Words
Introduction
That's what I whisper in my sleep. Every night.
To a man whose face I've never seen, whose name I don't know, yet whose touch feels more familiar than anything I've ever known.
For weeks, the mysterious man from my dreams has haunted my nights. I told myself he was nothing more than a fantasy, a secret desire my mind created.
Until he walked into my reality.
My new boss was supposed to be my escape from those impossible dreams. Instead, he turned out to be the man who had been owning my nights.
Powerful. Ruthless. Dangerous.
The kind of man everyone fears, the kind of man I should run from.
"I own this place," he said, his dark eyes locking onto mine. "I own this empire, and I own you too."
I never expected the stranger from my dreams to be the infamous Mafia Boss. I never expected his world to be filled with enemies, betrayal, gunshots, and threats that could destroy everything I know.
But when danger comes for me, he is the only person standing between me and death.
He says I belong to him.
I should hate him for it.
I should fear the darkness that follows him.
But the more I uncover about the man behind the power, the more I realize that my greatest danger may also be the only person who can save me.
Chapter 1
Harder, Daddy!!!
The words slipped out of my parted lips following a breathy moan, just as he thrust into me again—this time deeper and harsher, exactly how my body craved and begged for it. My fingers found their way to the collar of his custom-made suit, clenching like it was my lifeline as I tried to anchor myself, my mind slipping into nothing but pure ecstasy. Every grunt from him sent shivers down my spine, pushing me closer to that edge—the edge I was almost begging for, the one only he seemed capable of bringing me to.
I had no idea who he was. I didn't know his name, and I had never even seen his face despite the passionate nights we'd shared. But somehow, I knew him everywhere else, every part of his body resonated with mine.
His hands slipped down and cupped my exposed ass, making me gasp as he lifted me and set me on the desk like I weighed nothing. Papers scattered as he flung everything aside, and just as the sound of a pen hitting the floor echoed through the room, the door slammed open. I turned my head toward the sound instinctively, while he still held me, completely unbothered.
"Wake the hell up, Aria!"
My sister's voice blasted through what was just dawning on me as another fantasy. I jolted upright, trying but failing—to grasp onto the last trace of heat lingering in my body. As I turned toward the door, part of me stupidly expected to see the mysterious, sinful stranger. Instead, I was met with my sister's signature expression of disgust.
My eyes cleared almost immediately. I ran a hand over my face, muttering a few colorful words.
Oh God… another one of those dreams. And before you ask, yes—I know it's embarrassing to admit that as a fully functional, employed adult woman, my weeks have been plagued with these unholy, vivid, explicit dreams about a stranger I've never met. Different scenarios, different positions, but the same detail that makes your soul leave your body when you wake up.
"You look like you survived an exorcism," my sister yelled again, eyeing me like she had holy water on standby. "Just get your ass up. Your office friend is waiting for you downstairs."
Even through the haze, a smile found its way to my face at the mention of Jean's name.
"I'll never understand why you hate him," I muttered as I slid to the edge of the bed.
"I hate him 'cause he's a sissy," she shot back, already walking away. Before she disappeared, she turned again with a look of pure judgment.
"You keep turning your bed into a crime scene. Change your sheets, pervert!"
She slammed the door.
I stared at my bed, eyes widening as I came face to face with a wet patch.
"…Damn it. How did I even get here?"
This was a first since the dreams started weeks ago. And for some reason, they'd intensified—like they were pulling me toward the man I kept dreaming about.
I dragged the sheets off with me as I got up and stepped into the shower. I was out in a couple of minutes, threw on the clothes I'd set aside last night, and before I could spell Magic Mike, I was out the door and half-running as much as my skirt and heels allowed toward Jean's car parked outside.
"Let me in, weirdo," I motioned, and the door clicked open.
I slipped inside and exhaled as a smile spread across my face. "Good morning, Ice Prince."
He didn't look at me as he pulled out of the parking lot. "We're going to be ten minutes late because of you, Aria," he whined.
"Better late than ugly," I shrugged as I tossed my bag into the back seat.
"Lemme guess… Mystery Man kept you up all night again, didn't he?"
"God forbid I ever tell you a secret again," I gasped dramatically.
He rolled his eyes as we pulled up to the office. "You'll need a therapist if they continue, girl." His tone turned more serious. "It's definitely not a normal occurrence."
"I'll figure it out one way or the other," I muttered as I stopped in front of the elevator.
He waved goodbye just as the doors opened, and I stepped inside. The chatter hit me immediately—loud, excited, no attempt to tone anything down.
What were they so eager to talk about this early?
I listened anyway. What better way to hear corporate gossip than through the trusty elevator?
"Did you hear about the talks of a new CEO taking over today?" one woman whispered.
My eyes widened, and everyone around shared the same expression.
"I heard he's from some rich family, and the former management sold without batting an eye," another added.
A new CEO at Saturn Finance? That was not a twist I ever saw coming. I'd been here for three years since graduating college, and they had never breathed a word about something like this.
"I heard he's a really hot guy," another whispered.
The woman beside her nodded eagerly. "Super hot. But rumor says he's a playboy—only goes for girls he handpicks himself, like some kind of ego-boosting ritual."
A chuckle nearly escaped me.
Hot and playboy CEO in the same sentence?
Yeah… my fancy was definitely ticked.
Now I really couldn't wait to see how hot this egoistic CEO actually was.

He was a beast inhabiting this mansion, inflicting inhuman torture on my poor soul. He had created a living hell for me, this pitiful girl, within his castle.
On this cold winter night, he threw my wounded body into the icy pool, arrogantly enjoying it all, drinking and smoking expensive cigars. A satisfied, cold smile played on his lips as he reveled in my pain. His face was filled with the darkness of sin.
“How...more...am I…still…standing?” I stammered, my lips trembling.
Zain paused, thinking. Then, turning away from her, he replied:
“Until you die!”
With that, he left. As he wished. At that moment, my wish came true; I died.
But not in a frozen pool; I was struck in the head by a bullet from afar, blood splattering everywhere—that was far more gruesome.
My consciousness began to fade, but suddenly, I opened my eyes again and found myself mopping the floor in an ordinary restaurant.
I was startled: What happened? I was reborn? This is unbelievable!
