Introduction
To avoid the consequences of breaching the marriage contract, her identical twin sister, Charlotte Thompson, is compelled to take Mia's place and pretend to be her.
Will she be able to deceive him, or will he uncover the truth and make them pay?
Chapter 1
"You better not mess this up for us," Mr. Thompson said as he led Charlotte to the altar. "We cannot afford to offend such a powerful family."
Her heartfelt heart as she looked around, hoping Mia would change her mind and return. Her eyes met her mother's, who was wiping away tears. To an outsider, she might have seemed like a heartbroken mother sending her daughter away, but Charlotte knew better. Her mother didn't care about her; she only cared about Mia. Unfortunately for Charlotte, Mia had run off, leaving her to bear the burden of getting married instead. The fact that they were identical twins was a big help.
That morning, when Charlotte informed her parents about Mia's disappearance just minutes before the wedding, her father had slapped her hard. Now she stood at the altar, a veil covering her face as she awaited her future husband.
"He's not coming," Mr. Thompson said, approaching Charlotte. A smile began to form on her face at the thought of the wedding being called off. "Our family may not be as important as theirs, but they can't disrespect us like this," he fumed. Sending his driver? How could he send his driver to stand in? I'm glad this isn't happening to Mia. I'm glad she ran off, and I just hope she's safe wherever she is. I wouldn't want my daughter to be married to a man who wouldn't even show up to his wedding, he said, wiping sweat from his face.
Charlotte's smile vanished as she processed her father's words. She realized she was still expected to marry in her sister's place. The wedding proceeded, appearing normal to the outside world.
"Make sure you get him in bed tonight," Mrs. Thompson instructed before sending Charlotte off. If you can get pregnant before the contract ends, you might have to get married for real. That would be the best thing you can do for this family, so I advise you to do it well, she said, walking away. Ever since Jasper died, his mother hadn't looked her directly in the eyes; they both still blamed her for his death, and the anger remained.
How was she supposed to lie with a man she didn't know? She thought. Maybe Mia should have stayed; she had a knack for getting men into bed within minutes of meeting them. It was both a blessing and a curse and, in this case, it would have been a blessing.
"Ma'am, it's time to leave," the driver said, opening the door for her. Charlotte got into the car, wondering what life had in store for her. She remembered Mia's anger at their parents for wanting to send her off to a man she knew nothing about. Was Mia right? She wondered. What if he was indeed a wrinkly old man? She wouldn't be surprised, as her parents cared only for wealth.
The house was gigantic, with a big garden at one end of it. Even though it was late, there were workers around doing a thing or two. They all stopped to greet her immediately when they saw the car come in. He led her in as some other workers lined up to greet them. She wondered how rich the family was to have maids everywhere.
"This is Penelope, the head maid," he said, pointing at an older woman. "Trust she'll provide you with whatever you need before your husband gets back," he said, looking at Penelope as she gave a reassuring nod.
"Wait," she said, grabbing his hand as he attempted to leave. "He's not home?"
"No, ma'am, he had some urgent business to attend to," he replied with a bow and turned to leave.
Charlotte turned around to look at the household staff who had their heads all bowed, except Penelope. "How long has he been away?" she inquired.
"Two days, ma'am," Penelope replied. "I'll show you to your room now, ma'am," Penelope said, and sent the other housekeepers away.
Feeling a sense of relief that she wouldn't have to get in bed with him that night, she followed Penelope into her room, which was beautifully decorated with everything she needed. "He really prepared to have a woman in the house but didn't bother to show up?" she thought.
"Is your master usually not home?" Charlotte inquired, and Penelope nodded.
"Okay, you can leave now," Charlotte said, trying to get out of the wedding dress.
"No, it's fine, I can handle it." Charlotte said as Penelope came closer to help. She always hated letting people see her body because of the scars on her back. Whenever her parents got angry, they pulled out needles and pushed them into her back until she passed out. She knew they would kill her if people found out about it. She was lucky enough to not get punished when Mia ran away, so she couldn't afford to ruin everything now.
You can call on me anytime, ma'am. Just press that button on the wall, Penelope said, pointing to the button. She bowed and then exited the room.
Unable to sleep that night, Charlotte decided to take a shower to calm her nerves. Suddenly, she heard a loud bang outside followed by unfamiliar footsteps. Her heart raced at the thought of a break-in. When the bang sounded again, even louder, she panicked and ran out screaming.
She opened her door and saw a man attempting to walk up the stairs. He looked at her in confusion. Hearing the bang once more, she panicked further and ran to him, jumping into his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist. Her breasts pressed against his face as she clung to him for protection.
"Ma'am? We heard you scream, Penelope said as she ran over with some other maids. "Master Chase," she added, bowing immediately upon seeing him. "You are back."
"Mas... Master Chase? Charlotte asked, still in shock. "This is your master?" she asked, and Penelope nodded. Embarrassed by her behavior, she tried to get down but realized she was naked and quickly clung back.
"Get me a blanket!" she screamed, immediately regretting coming out of her room.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Invisible To Her Bully
Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis
Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now—billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn’t mind. I’d crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one?
Wrong.
One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That’s when it hit me—he didn’t love me. He didn’t even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn’t even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup.
So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster—my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise.
Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol.
Enter him.
Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I’d met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes.
It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised.
But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life.
And, as it turned out, the best decision I’d ever made.
Because my one-night stand isn’t just some random guy. He’s richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with.
And now, he’s not letting me go.
The Forbidden Throb
Mine changed in the time it took to open a door.
Behind it: my fiancé Nicholas with another woman.
Three months until our wedding. Three seconds to watch it all burn.
I should have run. Should have screamed. Should have done anything except stand there like a fool.
Instead, I heard the devil himself whisper in my ear:
"If you're willing, I could marry you."
Daniel. The brother I was warned about. The one who made Nicholas look like a choir boy.
He leaned against the wall, watching my world implode.
My pulse thundered. "What?"
"You heard me." His eyes burned into mine. "Marry me, Emma."
But as I stared into those magnetic eyes, I realized something terrifying:
I wanted to say yes to him.
Game on.
The Biker Alpha Who Became My Second Chance Mate
"You're like a sister to me."
Those were the actual words that broke the camel's back.
Not after what just happened. Not after the hot, breathless, soul-shaking night we spent tangled in each other's arms.
I knew from the beginning that Tristan Hayes was a line I shouldn't cross.
He wasn't just anyone, he was my brother's best friend. The man I spent years secretly wanting.
But that night... we were broken. We had just buried our parents. And the grief was too heavy, too real...so I begged him to touch me.
To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
And he's not the guy I left behind.
He's a biker.
An Alpha.
And when he looked at me, I knew there was no where else to run to.
The mafia princess return

Four years ago, the Bailey family faced a devastating financial crisis.

Rumors swirled about this enigmatic man—whispers claimed he was hideously ugly and too ashamed to show his face, possibly harboring dark, twisted obsessions.
Without hesitation, the Baileys sacrificed me to protect their precious biological daughter, forcing me to take her place as a pawn in this cold, calculated arrangement.
Luckily, in those four years, the mysterious husband never asked to meet in person.
Now, in the final year of our arrangement, the husband I've never met is demanding we meet face to face.
But disaster struck the night before my return—drunk and disoriented, I stumbled into the wrong hotel room and ended up sleeping with the legendary financial mogul, Caspar Thornton.
What the hell am I supposed to do now?
The Biker's Fate
I squeezed my eyes shut.
"Dani," he pressed. "Do you get me?"
"No, Austin, I don't," I admitted as I pulled my robe closed again and sat up. "You confuse me."
He dragged his hands down his face. "Tell me what's on your mind."
I sighed. "You're everything my parents warned me against. You're secretive, but you're also honest. I feel wholly protected by you, but then you scare me more than anyone I've ever known. You're a bad boy, but when I dated a so-called good one, he turned out to be the devil, so, yeah, I don't get you because you're not what I expected. You drive me crazier than anyone I've ever met, but then you make me feel complete. I'm feeling things I don't quite know how to process and that makes me want to run. I don't want to give up something that might be really, really good, but I also don't want to be stupid and fall for a boy just because he's super pretty and makes me come."
