Hades · Completed · 6.9k Words
Introduction
To make matters worse, a zombie horde then broke out.
We had no shelter and were quickly torn apart by a horde of frenzied zombies.
After being reborn, she planned to run off with all the money, then dump me and elope with her lover.
What she didn't know was that I had awakened the ability to read minds and knew all her plans.
Chapter 1
"Victor, darling? Are you listening to me?"
In a luxurious Michelin-starred French restaurant on the top floor of Manhattan, Ashley swirled a glass of Lafite wine in her hand , a hint of extreme impatience and coldness playing on her lips .
I sat across from her, my fingers unconsciously gripping the sterling silver knife and fork, my face slightly pale .
Today is our 15th wedding anniversary.
My wife, Ashley, who had been addicted to gambling on soccer, tearfully promised me that she would change her ways.
This is what I've always hoped for.
Before I could even feel happy, another voice suddenly exploded in my mind!
It was a voice exactly like Ashley's, but filled with malice and fanaticism:
[That damn idiot, what's he staring at me for? It's disgusting. Is he going to pay me or not?]
The voice was like a high-voltage current piercing straight into my brain. I jerked my head up and stared in shock at Ashley, who still looked pitiful.
Is this... her true feelings?!
Before I could even react, that sharp, piercing voice surged into my mind once more:
[If it weren't for wanting to swindle your last bit of money, I wouldn't even want to look at you! You were the one who ruined my luck in my past life, you green-haired turtle, and I absolutely can't be soft-hearted again in this one!]
Past life? This life?!
My breath hitched.
She...was reborn?!
I've memorized the correct Super Bowl score from my past life. If I can just get this idiot's savings , with odds dozens of times higher ... I 'll definitely make a fortune !
[ As soon as I get the money, I'll build a safe fortress. Five days later , when that damn zombie virus breaks out, I 'll move in with Brad and Luke— Luke is Brad's son anyway . Then the three of us can be reunited and live the high life in the apocalypse.]
As for Viktor, that piece of trash? Just like in his past life, let him be torn to shreds by zombies !
Bang!
It felt as if something inside my chest had been completely torn apart, shattered into nothingness.
More than a decade of marriage, heartfelt devotion, countless times filling the bottomless pit of underground casinos for her.
Even though she made mistakes repeatedly , I always forgave her... but what was the result?
In her eyes, I was just a rich, foolish ATM, a shield that could be used to feed zombies in the apocalypse!
Even my son, whom I've loved for over a decade , is a bastard child she had with another man !
“Darling? You look terrible. Are you feeling unwell? Or… don’t you believe me … ” Ashley’s eyes were red.
[Speak up, you useless piece of trash! I'm sick of this pretense of being sentimental! Hurry up and hand over the money, my Brad is in Miami waiting for me to wire the money to place his bets!]
A woman who is extremely hypocritical.
I sat in the dining chair, a murderous intent that seemed to destroy the world suddenly surged within me.
But I didn't roar, I didn't flip the table and question.
If she really is a devil who crawled back from hell, then my impotent rage will only make me lose my only trump card.
I now possess the ability to read minds and see right through her.
“How could that be, Ashley?” I loosened my grip on the knife and fork, picked up the napkin beside me, elegantly wiped my mouth, and looked at her calmly. “Are you really promising me that you will never touch those betting odds again?”
“ Darling, I swear to God ! If I touch it again, may I go to hell!” Ashley gripped my palm tightly.
[Go to hell, you idiot! I almost got all the answers right in my past life. It's all your fault, you unlucky thing! ]
"Very good." I felt the warmth of her palm and a smile that even I found satisfying stretched across my lips .
" As long as you repent and change your ways, I will have the finance department transfer all the savings into a bank card under our joint name tomorrow , and you can manage it."
Ashley's pupils suddenly contracted sharply, and her hand, which was gripping mine, trembled with excitement.
Her extreme greed had completely warped her soul.
But on the surface, she looked like a devout saint with tears in her eyes: "Victor, are you kidding me? My God, we must save this money carefully for our future and Luke's future!"
I took the initiative, holding her hand tightly with deep affection.
She thought that by having the script of rebirth, she could manipulate everything like God and ascend to the top step by step.
I will not agree.

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."
New to the world of shifters, Draven is human on the run. A beautiful girl who no one could protect. Domonic is the cold Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack. A brotherhood of twelve wolves that live by twelve rules. Rules which they vowed could NEVER be broken.

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.
