Zombie Doomsday: The Elder Rescued by My Lover Pulls All the Strings
R0b0t · Completed · 8.5k Words
Introduction
When the T-virus swept through London like a curse, and when my former love and brothers tore off their disguises at the last moment, I realized that the most terrifying thing in this world has never been zombies, but the human heart.
They thought they had tricked me, that abandoning me would get them a ticket to the safe house.
They don't know that I was reborn.
In my past life, my kindness became a weapon in the hands of demons; in this life, I will make the betrayers send themselves to hell.
Chapter 1
When I pushed open that familiar door, the two figures intertwined on the bed made everything instantly clear to me.
Emily was straddling Jack, her nurse's uniform scattered on the floor. My girlfriend, my most trusted brother, betrayed me on the last night before the end of the world.
"Mark! What are you doing..." Emily tried to cover herself in panic, but Jack pushed her away with a cold laugh.
"Since we've been found out, let's lay it all out." Jack stood up without a trace of shame. "Mark, you know what? Emily's tired of you. What do you have besides that pitiful medical knowledge, a retired military medic?"
I watched them quietly, but my heart was in turmoil.
It's not just because of betrayal.
More importantly, because I realized—I was reborn.
Memories of my past life flooded back. Tomorrow, the T-virus will break out in London. The three of us will head to the government safe house together, encountering the "injured" Dr. Franken on the way. Out of kindness, I helped him, thus missing the registration deadline. Jack and Emily got their spots, while I was "grateful" for the doctor's invitation to his private sanctuary.
That place became my hell.
Dr. Franken was a mad virologist who orchestrated the entire T-virus outbreak. His vault was actually an underground laboratory, dedicated to collecting living subjects for experimental modification. I was used as a specimen there, witnessing hundreds of people being transformed into monsters.
Jack and Emily ultimately couldn't escape that hell either.
"Okay." I turned and left. "That's settled then."
Their triumphant laughter echoed behind them, unaware that the Grim Reaper's scythe was already at their necks.
In this life, I will have them "help" that kind-hearted doctor in my place.
I want them to taste the flavors of hell for themselves.
Stepping out of the apartment, I pulled out my phone and started making my first call. Time was running out; I had to finish all the preparations by tomorrow.
The first step is the procurement of supplies.
I know which stores still have stock and which owners will be selling off their stock before the apocalypse. More importantly, I know of an abandoned underground bunker that will become my true refuge.
Jack and Emily thought they had outmaneuvered me, but little did they know they were just two pawns in my revenge game.
"Hello, is this John? I need your help..."
The call was connected.
Revenge begins now.
The next morning, I drove the rented truck straight to my first target—the warehouse of Wilson Medical Equipment Company. The owner, Wilson, was a greedy fellow; he'd sell anything as long as the price was right.
"Mark? What's the rush?" Wilson opened the warehouse door, looking at me sleepily.
"I need a lot of medical supplies. Antibiotics, painkillers, surgical instruments, the more the better," I said, getting straight to the point.
"Are you crazy? How much money would that cost...?"
"Five hundred thousand pounds. Cash." I pulled out a briefcase. "But I need you to keep it a secret."
Wilson's eyes lit up instantly.
idiot.
He had no idea that the money would become worthless tomorrow.
Two hours later, my truck was loaded with all sorts of medical supplies. Next came food and fuel.
I changed my route and headed straight for the wholesale market outside the city.
Time was of the essence; I had to finish all the shopping before Jack and Emily found out. They were busy registering at the government safe house and had no idea what I was doing.
"Sir, are you sure you want so many canned goods?" The supermarket owner looked at my list with a puzzled expression.
Pack everything up.
I ordered a full five tons of canned food, 20,000 liters of purified water, and 1,000 liters of gasoline and diesel. This is enough for me to survive in the underground shelter for more than a year.
At 3 p.m., I drove to an abandoned air-raid shelter on the outskirts of the city.
This is an underground bunker built during World War II. It's well-hidden and structurally sound. In my previous life, I heard about this place in Frankenstein's laboratory; a modified survivor told me about it before he died.
"Many people have been saved here..." he said before he died.
Now, this place will become my fortress.
I spent the entire afternoon inspecting the facility: the ventilation system was intact, the electrical equipment could be repaired, and there was a deep well. Most importantly, there were three exits, so even if surrounded, there was a way to escape.
Perfect.
In the evening, I received a call from Emily.
"Mark, we've got the safe house registration form. We'll meet at eight tomorrow morning to line up." Her voice smugly rang out. "Remember to be on time, don't make us late."
"Okay," I replied calmly. "I'll be there on time."
After hanging up the phone, I looked at my watch.
There are still twelve hours left.
That's enough.
I dialed a special number—the contact information for a demolition expert I knew from my time in the army. Although he's retired now, he still has some "special goods" in his possession.
"Old friend, I need some self-defense items..."
Late at night, I sat alone in the air-raid shelter, looking at the mountains of supplies piled up.
Tomorrow, the T-virus will break out.
Tomorrow, Jack and Emily will meet the "kind" Dr. Frankenstein.
Tomorrow, my revenge will begin.
I closed my eyes, recalling the painful experiences of my past life. Beneath Dr. Franken's kind face lurked a demonic soul, and his laboratory echoed with the screams of countless people.
This time, let Jack and Emily bear the pain.
This is the price of betrayal.

Pregnant by My Husband's Rival Alpha
Those words should have destroyed me, but the truth was worse: I'd been used as a broodmare by the man who swore to love me, set up in a hotel room with a stranger because My husband Alexander Cross couldn't father children himself, and now I carried the secret babies of Damon Lester—the most powerful and dangerous Alpha in San Loris—while my own family replaced me with the daughter they'd always wanted. But when that same stranger's doctor appeared at my door, when twenty million dollars exchanged hands over a fake perfume bearing my secret identity, and when Damon's gray eyes locked onto mine with recognition I couldn't afford, I realized my carefully hidden life as the legendary perfumer Vera was colliding with a pregnancy that could cost me everything.
Could I protect my babies from the husband plotting my death, hide my true identity from the Alpha who's been hunting me for years, and reclaim the freedom I'd buried along with my dreams—even if it means standing alone against the wolves who see me as nothing more than a womb to be used and discarded?
Where I End and She Begins
But when a body lies at Amelia’s feet, and her hands are covered in blood that isn’t hers, one question echoes louder than the rest:
How did it come to this?
As the school year unfolds, cracks begin to show — in friendships, in family, and in Amelia’s own mind. The lines between loyalty and control blur. Between truth and perception. Between who she is… and who she thinks she needs to be.
Because some friendships don’t just shape you.
They consume you.
And when the illusion shatters, there’s always something left behind.
Iron And Glamour Just Don't Mix
Well… Sometimes you just might turn out to be right.
It turns out, the fae stole my little brother. In his place? A pixie with boundary issues and a talent for home repairs.
I’ve spent my life taking care of everyone else. So when my baby brother is taken, I don’t hesitate. I walk straight into a faerie mansion and make a bargain with its infuriatingly charming master.
Kie is everything you’d expect from a dangerous fae, beautiful, political, and entirely too amused by me. Power wrapped in a smirk. Sensual, mischievous, and far too aware of the effect he has on people. He agrees to help me find my brother.
For a price.
Now I’m bound by a faerie bargain and navigating a world of glamour, manipulation, and ancient rules I definitely should have learned sooner, enchanted forests, political games, magical contracts, and a fae lord who treats seduction like a perfectly reasonable negotiation tactic.
Iron is how I keep people out.
Glamour is how he draws them in.
And apparently, they just don’t mix.

"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."

Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

Taste of Fate: The Vampire King's Human Mate
He reached for the back of my head and pulled me up just enough to reach my neck. When his fangs slid into me, the pain was instant, electric. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t think. My hands found his shoulders, clawing for something to hold. My legs kicked. Tears streamed down my cheeks.
He moaned against my throat as he drank, and the sound was devastating.
