Introduction
Chapter 1
The Shadowgate Penitentiary held the worst of the worst: market manipulators, would-be presidential assassins, arms dealers...
Right now, all the inmates were facing the wall in the chow hall, dead silent.
Why? Because Fergus Yost was eating.
Fergus Yost looked at the food with no interest and muttered, "Damn it. I've waited three years for you. Are you dead or what?"
Despite his grumbling, he was worried. Master had taken him in when he was young, and they were close.
Three years ago, Master brought him to Shadowgate Penitentiary, calling it the most dangerous place and the best training ground. Fergus was excited, thinking he'd finally have a worthy opponent besides Master.
To his disappointment, none of them were a match.
That night, Fergus beat them all up.
For three years, he had been tired of it.
"Fergus, someone's here to see you!" Warden Daniel Young rushed over, looking eager to please.
Fergus thought, 'Is Master back?'
He jumped up and ran to the reception room, rolling up his sleeves. He had a lot to ask Master about the past three years.
But when he got there, he was stunned. It wasn't Master. It was a woman in professional attire, with fair skin, a high nose, rosy lips, and beautiful eyes—a classic beauty.
"You looking for me?" Fergus asked, surprised. He didn't recognize her.
The woman eyed him with disdain and said, "I'm Jessica Henderson, your fiancée."
"But just so you know, this outfit costs twenty grand, the necklace is worth two hundred fifty grand, and my villa is over five million."
Jessica continued, "You can't give me any of this!"
Fergus was confused and replied, "I don't want to give you anything."
If he did, it would be easy. Inmates often paid him to avoid beatings. He'd made quite a bit of money in his three years here.
Jessica's face darkened. "So you plan to beg after you get out?"
She thought, 'Good thing I came to break off the engagement. This guy's not worth it.'
Fergus was annoyed. If she weren't a woman, he'd have beaten her for her attitude.
He shot back, "Who says I'm getting out?"
"You... Shameless!"
Furious, Jessica said bluntly, "I'm successful, and you're a criminal. We're not in the same world. Give me the prenuptial agreement, and we'll never see each other again."
"Since I'm the one proposing it, I can meet your three conditions, even medical parole!"
"No need!" Fergus didn't want to keep talking. But Master had given him a box before he left, which included the prenuptial agreement.
Fergus asked the guard to bring the box.
As he opened it, he said, "Not sure if the agreement you need is in here. If not, you've got the wrong guy."
Jessica sneered, thinking, 'No prenup means the wrong guy? He just doesn't want to break off the engagement.'
Jessica reiterated, "Prenup or not, I'm breaking off this engagement!"
As she finished speaking, she saw inside the box and was stunned. There was a stack of prenuptial agreements!
Nine of them!
She glimpsed a name—Sophia Johnson—which happened to be the same as the daughter of Tarynville's wealthiest man.
"This one's yours." Fergus casually tossed out a prenuptial agreement with Jessica's name on it.
Suppressing her shock, Jessica took the prenuptial agreement and checked it. She couldn't help but ask, "Did you come in here for fraud?"
She wondered, 'How else could he have so many prenuptial agreements? He must have conned women out of their money.'
Fergus rolled his eyes and got up to leave.
Back in his cell, he sat on his bed, looking at the prenuptial agreements, feeling speechless. He always thought they were fake. Who had nine prenuptial agreements?
Jessica's appearance meant they were real.
"If more people come to break off the engagement, it'll be so annoying."
Fergus shook his head, then his eyes lit up. "Why don't I break off the engagements first?"
With that thought, he grabbed the box and quickly left the cell block, heading straight to the prison gate.
Bang!
The massive electromagnetic gate was kicked open, and Fergus swaggered out.
The guards on the high platforms immediately turned around, pretending not to see.
Fergus looked at the vast wilderness around him and remembered it was a long way to downtown from Shadowgate Penitentiary. Running there without a vehicle would be exhausting.
Just then, Daniel came running up from behind.
"Fergus, are you leaving?"
Fergus raised an eyebrow. "Is there any problem?"
Daniel shivered in fear and weakly said, "No, of course not. You can leave anytime. I just wanted to ask if the inmates can start eating."
No one dared to eat without Fergus's permission. If he left for a few months, everyone in the prison would starve.
"Let them eat!"
Fergus waved his hand and added, "Call a car. I need to go to..."
He looked at the top prenuptial agreement, which was for Sophia, with an address in Tarynville.
"To Tarynville!" Fergus continued.
Five hours later, Fergus boarded a plane to Tarynville.
"What a small world." Entering the first-class cabin, Fergus frowned.
The first-class cabin was small, and he could see everyone at a glance. One of the passengers was Jessica.
At the same time, Jessica noticed Fergus and asked in surprise, "You've been released?"
Fergus didn't want to talk more. Saying anything would be pointless, so he just replied, "Yes."
Jessica's face immediately darkened. No wonder he refused help for medical parole; his sentence was already up. She said coldly, "I've made it very clear. We are worlds apart, and we will never be together. Stop following me and get off the plane!"
Jessica thought, 'Just released and on the same flight with me? It must be intentional. He must want to pursue me!'
"Wow, you're a genius, aren't you!" Fergus's mouth twitched, and he closed his eyes to rest, saying no more.
"You...!" Jessica was furious. She had thought better of him when he straightforwardly handed out the prenuptial agreement, but now he seemed like a scoundrel. He dared to insult her?
She glared at him fiercely and then looked away. Arguing with him on the plane would devalue her. She would deal with him in Tarynville.
Soon, the plane landed at Tarynville Airport.
Jessica got up first and walked to Fergus, warning him in a low voice. "A wise person knows their place. Stop following me, or I will teach you a lesson in Tarynville. Conduct yourself!"
With that, she turned and left without waiting for Fergus's response.
But as she reached the door, she was stopped by a flight attendant.
The flight attendant apologized and explained, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but Tarynville Airport is on lockdown, waiting for a VIP to disembark. So, you can't leave just yet."
Jessica's eyes flashed with surprise. Locking down the airport to wait for a VIP? This had never happened in Tarynville. Who could it be?
Other passengers were equally astonished. Locking down the airport was unheard of!
Passengers thought, 'Who could it be?'
The flight attendant checked the seat number and approached Fergus, batting her eyes gently. "Honorable Mr. Yost, please disembark..."

The Pack: Rule Number 1 - No Mates
"Let me go," I whimper, my body trembling with need. "I don't want you touching me."
I fall forward onto the bed then turn around to stare at him. The dark tattoos of Domonic's chiseled shoulders, quiver and and expand with the heave of his chest. His deep dimpled smile is full of arrogance as he reaches behind himself to lock the door.
Biting his lip, he stalks toward me, his hand going to the seam of his pants and the thickening bulge there.
"Are you sure you don't want me to touch you?" He whispers, untying the knot and slipping a hand inside. "Because I swear to God, that is all I have been wanting to do. Every single day from the moment you stepped in our bar and I smelled your perfect flavor from across the room."

The Human Among Wolves
My stomach twisted, but he wasn’t finished.
"You're just a pathetic little human," Zayn said, his words deliberate, each one hitting like a slap. "Spreading your legs for the first guy who bothers to notice you."
Heat rushed to my face, burning with humiliation. My chest ached — not from his words alone, but from the sick realization that I had trusted him. That I had let myself believe he was different.
I was so, so stupid.

Accardi
“I thought you said you were done chasing me?” Gen mocked.
“I am done chasing you.”
Before she could formulate a witty remark, Matteo threw her down. She landed hard on her back atop his dining room table. She tried to sit up when she noticed what he was doing. His hands were working on his belt. It came free of his pants with a violent yank. She collapsed back on her elbows, her mouth gaping open at the display. His face was a mask of sheer determination, his eyes were a dark gold swimming with heat and desire. His hands wrapped around her thighs and pulled her to the edge of the table. He glided his fingers up her thighs and hooked several around the inside of her panties. His knuckles brushed her dripping sex.
“You’re soaking wet, Genevieve. Tell me, was it me that made you this way or him?” his voice told her to be careful with her answer. His knuckles slid down through her folds and she threw her head back as she moaned. “Weakness?”
“You…” she breathed.

Rise of the Banished She-Wolf
That roar stole my eighteenth birthday and shattered my world. My first shift should have been glory—blood turned blessing into shame. By dawn they'd branded me "cursed": cast out by my pack, abandoned by family, stripped of my nature. My father didn't defend me—he sent me to a forsaken island where wolfless outcasts were forged into weapons, forced to kill each other until only one could leave.
On that island I learned the darkest edges of humanity and how to bury terror in bone. Countless times I wanted to surrender—dive into the waves and never surface—but the accusing faces that haunted my dreams pushed me back toward something colder than survival: revenge. I escaped, and for three years I hid among humans, collecting secrets, learning to move like a shadow, sharpening patience into precision—becoming a blade.
Then, under a full moon, I touched a bleeding stranger—and my wolf returned with a violence that made me whole. Who was he? Why could he wake what I'd thought dead?
One thing I know: now is the time.
I have waited three years for this. I will make everyone who destroyed me pay—and take back everything that was stolen from me.

Falling For The Biker: The Vice President's Girl
His eyes darken, flicking to my mouth.
"It's wrong. Your brother would slit my throat for just standing this close. But tell me, little bird" his breath ghosts my skin, "are you trembling because you hate me… or because you've wanted this just as much as I have?"
